Portable Devices / Devices Duplicate for the purposes of Syncing

Whenever I plug in my android device (LG G8X Thinq, Android 12) into MusicBee (Version 3.5.8447), at seemingly completely random times, MusicBee will not detect my device as the one I used for previous syncs and create a duplicate of the device with default settings and there is no way for me to force my device to be detected as the old one.
This requires me to readjust my settings to fit my needs every time this happens. In addition to that, it is also requiring me to resync my entire library. My library of music is massive and will take hours to fully sync it.
It is absolutely unfeasible for me to resync my entire library whenever MusicBee decides that the same device I have been plugging into it is all of a sudden completely different.
I don't know if this is an issue with MusicBee or with my phone, but I need a solution to this. I have been looking online for a couple hours now and have failed to find a solution to my problem. Any help would be appreciated, thank you so much.
