Portable Devices / Two Way Sync Is Greyed Out
« on: September 22, 2023, 11:52:16 PM »
Two way sync is greyed out. I use wired sync. Haven't been able to get wifi sync to work. Not opposed to using it. Just can't get it to locate my phone. Did everything I've been told. Turned off firewall, musicbee is running, wifi sync is turned on, vpns are turned off. No luck. Anyways not my point. Is there anyway to do a two way wired sync? If not is this something that can be added? Would it be difficult? Willing to pay $$ for it to be added. I really just want it so I can view play counts.

Portable Devices / Slow Sync with Android Device
« on: August 04, 2022, 04:53:32 AM »
I have about 18000 tracks in my library and I was able to sync them all to my android device (sd card) in ~30 minutes on my first sync a few months back. I don't remember making any changes to my sync settings since then. I'm trying to sync my device again but it's taking ~3 hours now. Anyone have any thoughts on what could be causing my sync speed to slow down. (I'm using the same SS-USB port as before)

See link for my current settings.

Questions / Track information missing after volume analysis
« on: June 24, 2022, 08:47:59 PM »
I just performed a volume analysis on my entire library and about 1% of my library now has an empty track title.

I also have several tracks that now have no information at all. These ones in particular show no playlists when I select "locate in playlist" but when I attempted to add them back to the correct playlists I get a popup indicating "duplicate track detected". I opened up said playlist and sure enough the track is there. I go back and check "locate in playlist" once again and still shows nothing.

Any thoughts?

I recently switched to MB from iTunes and am loving it so far.

There is only one thing I miss and that is the ability to organize my playlists into folders on my portable music player app. I have all of my playlists organized in this way in MB but when I sync to my Android device they all end up in one single folder. That is inconvenient but not a huge deal as I can just reorganize them manually back into the correct folders which I have done.

Problem is I can't find a music player that will scan my playlist folders and display them in the same hierarchy. Every app I have tried just displays all of my playlists in one list. I have a lot of playlists so it makes it difficult to navigate. Does anybody know of an app that will allow me to do this?

Portable Devices / Syncing PC to Android Device
« on: June 14, 2022, 09:52:42 PM »
I just downloaded MB to my pc. I've been an itunes user with an ipod since I was a youngster so this is all new to me. Planning to purchase a Sony DAC but before I do so, I want to test things out on my android phone (Samsung Galaxy S10e).

I guess my first question is how do I sync music from the pc MB app to the MB remote app on my phone. So far I've been able to connect my device successfully and I am able to transfer files to my phones internal storage. Now I am trying to figure out what I need to do so that I can play those files on my phone using the MB remote app? Essentially I want to use the PC app to manage my library and just transfer music and playlists onto my phone.
