MusicBee Wishlist / VST plugins in the Panel Layout

1. Feature for putting VST in the panels. Resizing might be an issue but lot of vst now have resize feature.

Hi, can we put the vst gui into a panel? like in the right side bar? I have good resizable vu meter and other monitoring vst, it would be a great setup to be able to put them somewhere in the panel layout.

2. And VST3 x64 support would be great! Since it's difficult to find VST2 x86 these days. Mostly all good vst are 64 bit in VST3 format.

MusicBee Wishlist / LARGER - DEFAULT SIZE BUTTON FOR WINDOW

Hi, can we get bigger buttons? Currently window close, minimize, restore buttons are spaced very close, which makes me click the wrong button often (since all the other window, like- chrome, explorer, etc. has the same button positions.

Currently skinning only changes the image of the buttons but the size and spacing stays the same.

Dark skin with player controls centered and another with player on the left, and a skin for Theater Embedded mode for the Now Playing tab.

2 Colors, 3 Skins : Lime Green and Windows Blue


Download page for the theme. Any feedback, help is very much appreciated.

Instructions:
Install skin ( .xmlc file):
View > Skins > Add Skin > Choose the xmlc files

Or you can simply put the skins into:
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\MusicBee\Skins

Important: For the Skin with Centered Player Buttons:
Keep the Album Cover enabled in the main player, since the player buttons and progress bar position is depended on it to stay centered.


To enable main player auto-color:
Right Click over the Main Player > Panel Layout > Auto-Pick Panel Colors


To customize the track details you want to show on the bottom left corner:
1. Select default MusicBee 3 theme (because some theme can disable this customization feature)
2. Right Click over Main Player
3. Panel Layout > Customize... > Create desired settings.



If you want, you can install the font Outfit and enable it from:
Edit > Edit Preferences > Layout - choose Fonts here.



To get your NOW PLAYING tab similar as the screenshots attached:

1. Put the " SLICK View.xml " into
C:\Program Files (x86)\MusicBee\Plugins\TheaterMode.Embeded\

2. Restart MusicBee

4. Click > Configure Layout Icon > Main Panel > Theater Mode > SLICK View

TheaterMode / Large Album Art and Title with Playlist and Lyrics- theater mode skin

A simple skin for Theater Mode Embedded with large Album Art and Title with Playlist and Lyrics (with autohide) over blurred album art as a background.

Clicking the album art will toggle hide for the Playlist.
Clicking beside the album art will toggle hide for Lyrics.

It's intended for while using the Main Player view with auto color for the main player enabled.

Questions / Blurred Album art as background for all tabs

Currently playing track's Blurred Album art as background for all tabs

I randomly chose one image to see how it looks as background and it worked kind of good.
It would be a great update if we could set Album Art blurred as background?

 ... and maybe control for the blurred background image's brightness value to turned down automatically if it's too much or some kind of fade.

Questions / Is it possible to modify the "Track Details" view to include Album Art? (SOLVED)

To easily distinguish between songs in dense playlist, it would be great if the album art was visible.

Is it possible to modify the "Track Details" view,  so it'll include Album Art in the view?

I know that something similar is possible with Album and Tracks view but that creates huge gaps, resulting in only 4-5 tracks visible even if artwork is scaled down.
That's why being able to include Album Art in the Track Details view would be a great view.

Solution:

If you right-click on the panel header in "Track Details" view you will see the options for Artwork.

MusicBee Wishlist / Larger spacing , fonts for Browser

Library / Playlist GUI:
When I'm browsing music library or editing playlists, it becomes very difficult for my eyes. Every line, tracks feels very close together.

It would be awesome if we can get a UI similar to Spotify for music library browser, playlist, etc.  



If either of these are actually possible right now, with some settings or skinning, please let me know. Thanks!

Instructions:
if MusicBee was installed in default directory, then put the content of the "Tile.zip" inside of- C:\Program Files (x86)\MusicBee\

If you're using Windows Store version of MusicBee then it's not going to work.

If you want to change the name of the png then edit MusicBee.VisualElementsManifest.xml

How to make the playlist tab (or even the music tab) with wider gap/ separation, larger font?
Is it possible from the Edit Preferences > Layout? Or does it need new skin?

A simple dark bitmap based theme for MusicBee 3.0+ with 2 versions, with and without auto color for main player.

Any help, suggestions to improve the theme is much appreciated.

In the downloaded file you'll find the images, xml template, etc. to modify the theme.

Questions / How to make a playlist based on the play count of a specific time duration?

Hi,
I'm trying to make a playlist where it'll auto generate a list of most played music within the last 2 weeks. I made this playlist and obviously it doesn't work, it uses all the play count.

Is there any option to add "recent play count"? Or play count of  during certain hours of the day?

Hi! How can I change the Last.fm icon in the main player panel? What are the element id for selected, mouse hover, disconnected and connected?
And how many pixel are the size of the png icon for Last.fm?
