Hi,

When created a toolbar button with the command "Player: Replay Gain Toggle", and pushing the button, the button text changes only between (off state's text) and "T".

Bug Reports / Writing to DVD/BD uses only CD's capacity.

Hi, I have received an issue from Japanese user.

Problem: Disk burning tool always uses only CD's capacity (about 700MB) even for DVD/BDs.

Procedure:
1. Insert a blank DVD-R or a BD-R.
2. Start the disk burning tool.
3. Select "Data CD/DVD/BD".
4. Drag/drop many files (eg. about 2GB) to tool's window.
5. Multiple  (eg. 2) disks needed is reported on the window.

Questions / Q on "Save to MusicBee database only" tags

Hi, I have a question about custom tags.

When I modified a custom tag with "Save to MusicBee database only", the music file's timestamp was updated.

Q: Why is it and what of the music file have been updated?

MusicBee Wishlist / Virtual file or placeholder.

Hi, I would like to register some video titles to MB. Unlike the ordinary case, the videos are not ripped to files. I just want to register its title,  genre, etc. to MB's DB to remember what titles I own.

So, it would be nice if MB supports "virtual files" or "placeholders". If a virtual file is added, MB creates an entry in the DB, but will not register any file.

Questions / Please restore the Toolbar button spec!

From 2.4.5316, the Toolbar button spec has been changed. And I feel it very unuseful.

I have assigned "Playback: Replay Gain Toggle" function to a button.
Old versions worked well (one of four labels is displayed showing replay gain state), however, this version just assumes ON and OFF of each button.
And, the button works somewhat odd: button text does not match with actual replay gain state: always both ON and OFF labels.

Old versions:
- Can assign more than two button labels.
- Displays one of multiple button states.

Current version:
- Can assign only two button labels.
- Cannot display button states.

So, please restore the Toolbar button spec to the previous version.

MusicBee Wishlist / Copy title, artist name, album name on the detail pane of player (to clipboard).

Sometimes, I want to do it. Currently, I have to "Edit" the track.

It is nice if title, artist name, or album name would be copied separately with a right click (and select "Copy" menu), or a drag and Ctrl-C.

Questions / Q: Why "smooth fade when stopping" is not effective in WASAPI?

In WASAPI mode, the "smooth fade when stopping" feature is not effective - the sound is not faded on stop.
Is it caused by some limitations of WASAPI? Please tell me the reason.

Hi, I'm just curious about the info. on artist pictures, such as its URL, photographer.
So, I'd be happy if "Properties" menu entry were added to the right click menu of the modern compact player's artist picture pane.

Tips and Tricks / How to remote control MB

Hi,
I would like to share my tips on remote controlling MusicBee using a remote controller.

1. Required device/software
- Driver app: EventGhost (http://www.eventghost.org/)
- Remote controller: any one supported by EventGhost and Windows
- MusicBee

FYI: My environment
- EventGhost 0.4.1.r1572
- Infrared remote controller: I/O Data Remote Controller 2 (with USB dongle USB-IRUNIT2)
- MusicBee 2.1.4841
- Windows 7 Pro 64bit

2. Install and check
  1. Connect the remote controller's receiver(dongle) to PC.
    Check: Is the receiver detected by Windows?
      If NO, the controller cannot be used.
  2. Install EventGhost.
  3. Start EventGhost.
  4. Add EventGhost's plugin for the remote controller.
    Usually, it might be "Generic HID".
  5. Push the remote controller's some button.
    Check: Are some event detected and logged by EventGhost?
      If NO, the controller cannot be used.

3. Setup
2.1 EventGhost
  A little bit hard to describe. In short, program EventGhost to send keystrokes to MB when events from the remote controller are detected.
  For example, when the remote controller's "Play" button is pressed, find the MB's window and send a keystroke Ctrl-P to MB's window.

2.2 MusicBee

It might be interesting to add the feature of "intelligent fade-out" - if the end of current track is not silent, fade-out the track before going to the next track.
It would be nice for live or medley tracks.

MusicBee Wishlist / Presetting volume of Last-FM and jamendo streams.

Hi, auto DJ's streaming of  Last-FM/jamendo is very nice.
However, those streams sound a little bit loud than ordinary tracks for me (note: the track gain is enabled). So, it would be useful if we could preset the volume of those streams like ordinary sound files.

By the way, is the dynamically normalize the volume of streams feature (Preferences/Player/Sound effect) for this purpose? If so, I think it does not work well...
