« on: August 19, 2020, 04:45:24 AM »
The "Set Toolbar Buttons" Dialogue is not functioning properly on high-DPI resolutions.  Label text above the text boxes is obscured.
Also Edit page has an anomaly.

MusicBee Wishlist / R007 - Toolbar button for Mood / Occassion
« on: August 19, 2020, 04:39:30 AM »
Request
This feature is requested because it would help to quickly classify a high volume of songs through the primary interface without having to go layers deep.
It would be great to have a toolbar at the top that lets you apply a selected tag to whatever combination of files are selected in the primary listing.  Toolbar should have:  Occassion, Mood, Quality, Rating, Tempo.  When a toolbar icon is clicked, the specific menu of predefined options expands, allowing you to check one or more options in the list, exactly the same way it works on the in place row-cell edit mode.

With regards to R0003, if I move a directory out of the currently viewed directory in MB, that directory does not automatically disappear from the Device --> Storage (Library Tree).  I am resorting to using explorer.exe to move the directory since there's no directory cut/paste from inside MB.  Hitting Refresh from View does nothing.  Collapsing and re-expanding the parent directory does nothing.

When I click on album art to view larger, the popup window does not have resize control handles.  It should also have Maximize/Restore buttons adjacent to the Close button.  It would be nice to have a Right click option to scale image at fixed multiplier (e.g. 2x,3x,4x) and a toggle to apply/disable smoothing to scaling.  When album art is pixel art, scaling a 200x200 pixel art looks terrible when image smoothing is applied.  It's best to have this type of art left scaled at fixed multipliers without smoothing.

MusicBee Wishlist / R0003 - File System Copy/Paste
« on: August 18, 2020, 01:14:26 AM »
I use the Storage view of the file system to view the contents of a uSD card on my laptop when traveling.  This is when I test drive new music, tag it, classify it, etc.  When I get home, I move these songs from the uSD to the main collection on a separate computer.  I use two directories "To Process" and "Ready to Import".  So if I have a new music collection to audit ("My New Album"), I start with that being inside of "To Process".  When done, I move it to "Ready to Import".

Can you add a feature to:
a) Allow Folder Name --> Right Click --> Cut.  Then destination directory ("Ready to Import") --> Right Click --> Paste.

b) Allow directory moves from within MusicBee using drag and drop.

This feature existed in MediaMonkey so I made heavy use of it.

MusicBee Wishlist / R0002 - Library Tree Has No Horizontal Scroll Bar
« on: August 18, 2020, 01:13:40 AM »
When viewing devices or file system, you can't scroll the window horizontally to be able to see several sub-directories deep.  The only option is to consume significant screen space by enlarging the window pane.  This is problematic since I might need to maximize the space taken by the main window but only see a select (scrolled) portion of the Library Tree while doing heavy classification work.

MusicBee Wishlist / R0001 - More Encode Custom Settings.
« on: August 18, 2020, 01:12:03 AM »
File Converter generally only lets me select presets like Standard Quality or Maximum Quality.  Besides not easily knowing what these mean, we need to be able to select every encoding parameter manually if needed, such as bitrate, stereo/joint stereo, VBR/ABR/CBR, encoder quality setting, etc.  Each file format should have a tailored custom setting page.  You should be able to save your own presets.

General Discussions / Migrating MediaMonkey AutoPlaylists
« on: August 17, 2020, 09:45:42 PM »
I'm exploring how to migrate over from MediaMonkey.  Is there an easy/semi-easy method of migrating AutoPlaylists over to MusicBee?  I have a few hundred AutoPlaylists that create their music contents based on a variety of conditions and booleans.  To be clear, I'm not referring to exporting MM playlists as M3Us then importing that into MusicBee... I am referring to migrating the logic of the AutoPlaylists into the MusicBee equivalent.
