any time i try to get a sync preview in the app i get a "non-recoverable error". if i try to sync without previewing, it transfers new files just fine but hits another error when it tries to do the reverse sync.

Portable Devices / Can't sync

Trying to sync my android phone is suddenly giving me repeated "value cannot be determined" errors, I tried using the wifi sync app as suggested in a few threads on here and it gives me a "non-recoverable error" message instead. Yes I've tried both multiple times, restarted my phone, restarted musicbee etc

Portable Devices / Unticked songs syncing

When I sync with my phone, some tracks that aren't ticked are still being synced even though in the music tab for the device it says "excluded: 67 files (tracks not ticked)". If I make a filter for only ticked tracks and apply that to the sync, it says "excluded: 19 files (tracks not ticked)".

I noticed before that any playlists selected to sync override the filter option, as in tracks excluded by the filter are still synced if they're on a selected playlist, is this the same for ticks? Do unticked songs sync if they're on a synced playlist?

Portable Devices / Korean changed to question marks

Several, but not all, tracks that have Korean (and one with Chinese) in the title/artist/album are being changed to question marks when I sync with my phone. At first I thought this was a GMMP issue, but according to the GMMP dev:
"gmmp is correctly reading the tags, your tags have just been changed to ??????  so musicbee or whatever is syncing is editing the tags when transferring it over to your device"

I've found a lot of old topics about two-way play count syncing and how to sync play counts from Android (GMMP) to MB, but what if I only care about syncing the play count from MB to GMMP? Would I still need to use a scrobbler?
