Developers' Area / C# vs C++ for Addon Creation

Hello, I would like to write an addon for MusicBee.

However, I'm rusty on C# (which is the only .NET) language I know.. so I would rather not use it as it would take time for me to get back into the "swing of things".

I am good at C++ (I use Visual Studio 2022 / MSVC)

So my question is, is it ok to use C++? or would it be easier to use C#?

Questions / Combining my 3 smart playlists into one

I have 3 playlists that do the same things but for different Artists. They display one random album for that artist.

I was wondering is there a way to have a smart playlist that display one random album for each specified artist? So instead of 1 album on the smart playlist, it shows 3 - a random album for each of the 3 specified artists?

Is there a way to tag for future reference (maybe make notes too) a spot within a music file? I mean bookmark a time or at least mark a time.

Hi, is there a way to view History in terms of Albums,  not songs?

OR

Can I make a separate playlist tab view, whatever you call those tab things, to put next to my History tab that would show me the most recent songs I have played (as Albums) ?

## 1. sorted by most recent
2. all songs I have rated higher than 4 stars
3. limited to artist containing these words or starting with these words.. also what if I want to include several specific artists?

I really use the context menu a lot (mostly for rating songs and for setting volume)

Questions / Random listening to albums

I'm sorry I forgot what these tabs are called at the top of program, they are like pages. Anyhow I'll call them a page. They contain music. For example I have some that are dedicated just to certain bands.

I'm wondering, is there a way to choose a random album to listen to just from one of these pages?

Is there some kind of add-on that would do something like Dolby-B or C or something similar noise reduction to music you are listening to?

Just for reference, I'm listening to concert tapes - not commercial music.

Questions / bluetooth media controls

I have some bluetooth headphones that have a stupid feature that cannot be disabled. When they stretch, they pause/unpause the music. This means that on a large head if you chew or something like that it can pause or unpause the music. Also when you take them off.

Is there a way in musicbee to disable bluetooth media controls from a specific bluetooth device?

MusicBee Wishlist / Ability to assign an equalizer preset to an output device

My speakers all have different sound characteristics... some are too bassy, others too tinny.. it would be nice if MusicBee  could remember the equalizer preset based on the output device.

Questions / Disable track-eating of played tracks in the current playlist that occurs only..

It is annoying to have to switch back to full mode to see the entire setlist (list of album tracks)

how can I disable this feature?

just to be clear I mean in the compact mode the current song is the top song, you can scroll up above it

MusicBee Wishlist / ToolTips for the Filter and Command Toolbar Buttons

Hi, it would be great if tooltips could be added for the  Filter and Command Toolbar Buttons.

I have a bunch of them and only using 1-2 letters for the names to save space, so it would be great to see  the command e.g "General: Locate Selected Track in Windows Explorer" or filter name e.g. "Decade" when hovering over these.

How do you view the other covers / pictures in an mp3 or flac?

I can't figure it out.. when I edit the mp3/flac I see only the first photo and using the drop down there does nothing although, when I try to leave the song it thinks something has been edited and I have to decline modification.
