Portable Devices / sync issues to my phone

Now the syncing isn't working.  Spent an hour to sync one playlist that should have only took 5 mins.  I"m frustrated.   I synced my phone last night so it will have more playlists and then today when i was in a hurry to use my phone and music then none of those playlist including my Christmas playlist was on the phone. I rebooted several times.  and everytime i try to sync some more i get an error message and have to unplug the phone and restart the program on the computer.  this is really annoying.  is there not a way to resync without doing this?  I still don't have the stuff on my phone.  the program shows it synced it but even in explorer on my phone i can't find the playlists so it's as if they never make it to my phone.  I would hope i can listen to my christmas playlists when I'm out of the house before christmas is over.

Portable Devices / copy failed - value does not fall in the expected range

I'm trying to sync my phone with the cable since Android 12 broke the Wifi Sync.   But I keep getting "copy failed - value does not fall in the expected range" on some of my playlists.  I never had it do that in a long time.  What is the problem?  I keep resyncing but those same two playlists keep getting this message.   I get "Synchronization failed" at the bottom of the main window and a Device Synchronization box i have to click cancel on.   I'm using a Galaxy S21.

Portable Devices / WIFI Sync won't work

I can't get wifi sync to work all a sudden.  I just got Android 10 on my S9+ the other day.  I went to sync earlier and it worked.   I went to add another playlist a few hours later and now it won't work.   I click the sync more button and it does nothing.   I cleared data and even uninstalled and reinstalled but it still won't try to sync.  I click the button and nothing.   I did update MB on the computer tonight before that happened but not sure if it's related.   Not sure if it's a network error.   I never had the button just not work.

On selected multiple songs for an album when unchecking "primary picture" I get this error each time:

Questions / moving music to a new computer

I am moving my music to a new computer with Win10, but on signing my email in on the new computer it didn't ask for a local profile sign in.   So the profile name in windows explorer is the first 5 letters of the email address instead of my name like the previous several computers.    So now I am worried about my library being screwed and the playlists being ruined and starting from scratch.   Is there a fix for my situation?

also i have a 500GB SSD as the main drive and the 2TB HDD as the second drive.   Should I put the music on the HDD or the SSD drive and is there a way to keep my library intact with that situation?

General Discussions / MP3 Gain on Musicbee

I use MP3 Gain for my all of my music.   Does it work with Musicbee? I notice some albums are much louder and using Peace APO Equalizer the VU meter shows it maxed out for the songs that are MP3 Gained and some albums that are way louder than others that are put through MP3 Gain.   I can't figure out why.   I have this same problem on the new Poweramp V3.

Bug Reports / playing two songs at the same time

The song crossfaded to another and now i hear two songs at the same time.   I have no idea what's going on but i paused it and both songs pause and then unpause then both songs start playing again.   This is weird.   I think that happened once before.   It seems it was playing the previous song at the same time.   Skipping forwards to the next song and back fixed it.

Bug Reports / songs from playlists won't delete

I think I found a bug with playlists.  When copying a album to a playlist it asks me if i want to add duplicates.  I click no but when i go back the missing songs aren't there.   So then i go back and copy all of them ignoring the duplicate message and low and behold they finely show up along with the duplicates.   But can't delete the duplicates. I'm having problems where I try to delete duplicate songs out of playlists but the playlist won't let it delete.   The only way i can fix it is to make a new playlist and add the songs to the new playlist.   A duplicate playlist still has that problem btw.   It's rather frustrating.    this problem has happened on many occasions like now.

Portable Devices / sync failing and error messages with android

I have a difficult time syncing my android phone or tablet without it being an ordeal.   I tried to sync my tablet today and it took 4-5 attempts and several hours before I got it to successfully sync.   It kept saying device unreachable after running for awhile.   then looking in explorer the memory card wouldn't show up till i reconnect the tablet 2-3 times.   When that happened to my phone a while back my $50 card got corrupted and wouldn't even format with the computer.   Another thing is when syncing successfully is that if i try to go back and sync some more then i get an error message right away.  I have to close the program out and reopen it each time.   what can i do to fix the problem?  Is there a bug in the program or something?
