When user is switching tabs while from within the second tab is adding songs to a playlist, musicBee fails to remember the "cursor's" last position within the first tab when the user returns to it.
Instead, it resets to the beginning or rarely to some random position within the playlist.

Expected Behavior:
MusicBee must maintain "cursor's" last position (focus on previously selected/highlighted track) within any tab, no matter the action previously performed in any other tab.

Bug Reports / Date Created search
« on: June 10, 2023, 04:16:40 PM »
When searching for tracks with an empty 'Date Created' tag (DATE CREATED IS ""), using the middle click in MusicBee library, it doesn't return any results, even though there are tracks without any information in this tag.

The advanced search works flawlessly for tracks with no value in this tag.

It used to work in the past, so I suspect it may be a bug.

Bug Reports / Musicbee is auto-exporting playlists without changes
« on: April 22, 2023, 03:31:49 PM »
Second problem I'm facing, I think it's a bug, recently, MusicBee has been automatically exporting or updating auto exported playlists even when there have been no changes to them or to the music library.

Bug Reports / Musicbee random "high" CPU usage.
« on: April 22, 2023, 03:26:26 PM »
Recently, I have noticed that MusicBee, at some point out of nowhere, is using around 20% of my CPU, even when it is sitting idle in the background. It never seems to release this CPU power, and it continues to use 20%or more  of the CPU until I restart the program

I use the latest patch of Musicbee.

Questions / Copy Tag <Created date> format
« on: April 11, 2023, 09:07:49 PM »
I have no idea what i changed but for some reason copying the created date tag using the additional tagging tools changed to a DD/MM/YYYY format, since recently the format used to be YYYY/MM/DD.

Is there any way to revert back to YYYY/MM/DD format?

Bug Reports / Search box ignores text in newline.
« on: April 11, 2023, 06:23:38 PM »
When you try to paste text that contains two lines, Musicbee prefers to ignore the second line.

Example

Code
Where You Are
John Summit & Hayla

Any chance to change that behavior. so when you paste any text containing two lines, Musicbee will automatically transform that to something similar as the text below?

Code
Where You Are John Summit & Hayla

Bug Reports / Lag/Slow inline tag triggering and editing.
« on: April 09, 2023, 03:47:36 PM »
It's something that I'm facing since, well forever, but i just can't stand it anymore.
Triggering inline tag editing (double clicking on a tag) or even trying to trigger the edit tag panel is slow, also it's almost impossible to write anything because of the huge input lag while typing in normal speed.

Hi, is it possible to add the ability to set specific abbreviation like they are the same, for example "feat." "ft." etc, while searching?

Also, another nice addition would be symbols evasion, for example symbol like artist "-" title.

HI, is it possible to add an option to export a static copy of all playlists, including auto-playlists, within a playlist folder?

Bug Reports / Broken UI when i try to create an external playlist
« on: March 16, 2022, 07:30:41 PM »
Hi, the UI is broken whenever i try to export an external playlist.
Windows 11, Musicbee 3.5 (the same happens with 3.4)

As i mentioned earlier when you select the Wave Bar instead of progress bar track information is missing form the main Player.

If you select to use the wave bar instead of the progress bar the track information are not available.

Steven informed me about that

Thats expected behaviour. The playing track information is displayed in the status bar when a wavebar is displayed in the player controls panel

I would love to be able to use the Wave Bar but to also keep the Track information in the Player instead of moving them to Status Bar

Hi, I'm trying to find a way to edit only the Horizontal Scroll Bar of the Main Panel in an xmlc file using the secondary xml file method.
So i wonder if there is any value which only affects the specific bar.

Something else i noticed is that the mini player rating stars are not affected by the code below (colour is not changing). Is this a bug/

Code
<element id="MiniPlayer.StarRating.Default" fg="Value" />
<element id="MiniPlayer.StarRating.Lowlight" fg="Value" />

MusicBee Wishlist / Fix/Creating Playlist even from a Plain text.
« on: July 09, 2020, 02:03:10 PM »
So i was trying to find out a way to create some playlists quickly from different web sources (ex. beatport) from plain text in form of
Artist - Title.

During my search i found out a script for MM which called Recreate-M3U but this requires to have MM installed and maintain two libraries. Then i found an independent tool called ListFix() which is 85% accurate.

Although both are working in a really successful way i would prefer to keep using only Musicbee to manage my music, also this seems to be a really useful function and it would make Musicbee an absolute beast on playlist creation.
