Questions / Playback sped up over Bluetooth in exclusive WASAPI mode
« on: January 23, 2024, 09:09:38 AM »
I am finding that MusicBee playback is sped up when I listen over bluetooth in exclusive WASAPI mode. This is irrespective of file codec.

Audio works  fine in all other modes and all other apps.

OS is W11, PC bluetooth adapter is latest Bluetooth version, Bluetooth receiver is Fiio BTR3.

Is this a known bug? Other than the workaround to use a different playback mode, is there a known fix?

cheers!

Questions / FLAC Files not loading into MusicBee Library
« on: June 02, 2022, 09:27:51 PM »
I have some random FLAC files that MusicBee won't play or load into the library. They will, however, play fine in VLC. They were ripped in an identical fashion to the other FLAC files from the same CD which will load and play in MusicBee.

Never encountered this before.

Any ideas?

thanks

Questions / Ripping CDs to NAS library
« on: December 19, 2020, 04:08:51 PM »
I am trying to configure CD ripping in MB so CDs are ripped directly to my music library, which is on a NAS.

However, the change folder field is greyed out and cannot be changed when 'add to library' is selected in ripping options and the library folder cannot be selected when the 'add to inbox' option is selected. So all my ripped files are currently sitting on my c drive in the 'ripped files' folder, which is not where I want them to be ripped to.

I have looked at the wiki and that offers no insight whatsoever into this issue.

I can ctrl/R to subsequently move them from ripped files using a new drive mapping rule, but this will be a time and motion nightmare with the number of CDs I have to rip.

How do I configure MB to rip CDs directly to my NAS library folder in one step?

thanks

Questions / Musicbee will not delete files from music folder
« on: October 26, 2017, 04:13:09 PM »
I'm viewing my library in the music tab. When I click on a track and select 'delete from library and computer' a dialogue box pops up saying 'n tracks not deleted', where n is the number of tracks I've selected. The tracks remain undeleted on the computer.

My music is stored on an external USB drive and I assume this is some sort of permissions problem, other than that, I'm none the wiser.

I have not yet enabled auto-organise as I don't know how this will treat files with tagging errors.

I have a workaround (monitor folder and delete files in window explorer) but I would like to fix the problem that is preventing me from deleting files using the MB GUI.

any suggestions?

cheers
