Bug Reports / Musicbee opens two windows on startup
« on: January 27, 2019, 12:26:15 PM »
Weird issue.

Normally I use compact mode all the time. Since a few months (since 3.2.6902?) Musicbee opens two windows on startup, the main window and the compact window. If you switch to any other window mode in one of the two windows, the compact mode window closes, leaving only the main window. If you switch to mini mode, both windows vanish and only the mini window is shown. This seems to happen only when I previoulsy closed the player from the compact mode window.

Not a serious bug, just an annoyance. Any idea what is going wrong?

Questions / Single Song selected, choosing "play" plays whole list
« on: January 07, 2018, 01:27:49 PM »
For me this is a annoyance.

Steps to reproduce (using German version, guessing what the original english text is)

  • Choose Compact Player
  • Open Search
  • Search for "titles" (songs?) and filter so that you get multiple hits
  • Mark a single song
  • right-click, choose "play"
  • check playlist

Expected outcome: Choosen song is the only in the playlist (any maybe filled up with songs from the auto-DJ)
Actual outcome: the playlist has been replaced with the whole filtered list from the search window.

If you select multiple songs, this works. If you select "play next" with a single selected song, it works as expected. I expect also that if you double click on one song, only this song will be played, but it behaves the same as choosing play from the context menu.

Questions / InternalCache in Roaming Profile
« on: September 21, 2017, 01:20:41 PM »
Hi,

I use a Windows Roaming Profile to copy over my user data to the server. My InternalCache contains 3GB in 20k+ files which makes synchronizing the profile quite long.

IMHO the InternalCache should be located in AppData/Local and not AppData Roaming as this data is non-essential and can be regenerated when needed.

Any chance to get a data separation here? I know it's an individual problem :(
