Bug Reports / „Ignore files less…“ malfunction

I opened already a thread in „Questions“ but it seems like a bug. Sorry, I don‘t know, how moving topic to bugs report.

I had/have a Musicbee database before I ruined my system, which I backed up. I have some FLAC & MP3 files, which was imported to database. I made those files to 0-byte files and kicked them out of library. I need to keep the files with their original filenames and endings, but don’t wan’t them in my library. When I scanned my HDD for new files with old setup and „Ignore files less…“ checked, they weren‘t reimported to library (cause 0-byte) and it worked as it should for my preferences. After reinstalling WIN11 and Musicbee and restore my library backup, Musicbee sends all those 0-bytes again to Inbox. But I still wan‘t them ignored, but it doesn’t work. New 0-bytes are ignored fine as they should, but old files will be reimported 🤷🏻‍♂️

I use latest Musicbee release.

Questions / Import problem

Hi, I‘ve a question. Maybe it‘s a bug.
Yesterday, I had to reinstall my Windows 11 and also Musicbee. For some reasons, need to have a few „fake“ FLAC & MP3‘s with 0-byte on my HDD. I checked the „ignore tracks less…“ option and files were ignored as they should till yesterday. I still have it checked, but now Musicbee always recognize them, imports them and send them to the inbox. I‘ve version 3.5.8698 installed, I think before I had the previously released version. Could it be a bug or is something wrong with my setup?

Questions / Problem copying rating tag with additional tagging tools

Hi,
since yesterday I got a little problem with additional tagging tools. I have a template which copied some tags like artist, genre i.e. and also rating tag.
It worked very well till yesterday. All ratings copied fine, but rating tag. I can do what I want, but it makes always a 3-star rating. Has anyone a solution?

couldn‘t be an option for converter be implemented, that only lossless will be converted and others be copied? As in synch options.

Portable Devices / No renaming while syncing

I don‘t know, if it’s a bug or not.
I want to sync and make separate folders for each playlist. And it’s necessary to trim and rename files. But Musicbee doesn’t recognize my settings. No matter what I do, filename is always same (the original). While not syncing to separate folders, filenames are trimmed and renamed.

Questions / Problem with autoplaylists

Hi,
I've a question and I hope you can help me. Maybe it's real simple, but I don't get it.
I've some auto playlists on my desktop, which are created from static playlists. They auto refresh based on things like ratings.
Those autoplaylists sometimes have more than 1000 entrys. My car audio doesn't like playlists with more than 1000 entrys,
so I've to split those lists. Now I've created autoplaylists based on those lists, but with 1000 entry limit and also auto refresh.
So far so good, it contains same songs. But the order is another. I can do what I want, but everytime it randomize the order.

I want same order as in original playlist. Maybe it's not possible. I don't know.

I sync WiFi between MB <> Poweramp. Poweramp support multiple genre, but I don't know, how I have to setup separators within. How does MB separates multiple genres?

Hi everyone.
Is it possible, create a dropdown or something, to show which playlist contains selected track and maybe disselect from playlist? I know, playlist column shows, but If a track appears in many playlists, it's getting confused.

Questions / Missing songs in chronicle

Hi, maybe I missunderstand this function. In my Musicbee chronicle should appear all played songs or am I wrong? Cause after 2 way WiFi sync not all played songs appear there, just some of them. But playcount and last played date were changed correctly for all songs by MB.

Hi, maybe it's simple, but I don't know how. Maybe you can Help. I created an autoplaylist, which is permanently feeded with new imported songs. I want Musicbee sort this list this way: 1.) songs which are imported last and 2.) songs with last played date sort ascending. With Mediamonkey it was easy create such a list. But with Musicbee, I don't know how.

I know, Android devices won't sync in 2-way. But is there any device (i.e. MP3 player with Rockbox or something), which syncs Play/skipcount/lastplayeddate?

Questions / Batch copy multiple tags

Hi,
I have a few custom tags, which I want to copy to other tags automatically at startup.
I know, that I can do with additional tagging and reporting tools (advanced search and replace function), but I don't know how 
i.e. I have a custom tag, called "PlaycountMM" and I want to copy to playcount field.
I read somewhere, that there's a preset for this. But I can't find presets anywhere, there were no presets loaded 
Hope you can help me, cause I'm not good in RegEX.

Questions / How much time can last.fm playcount syncback take?

Hi, there.
I have an android phone and actually playback my music with Mediamonkey Android. My problem, I can only sync back playcount and last played date back to Mediamonkey. Mediamonkey ist good, but Musicbee is my favourite notebook player...Steven you did a great job! Now, my only way to sync playcount is last.fm, but some songs not seems to sync. There seems no differences between tags of working and non working titles. There is no scheme for me. Steven wrote it takes some time to re-sync. Has anyone else such a problem? Does it take more time just for some songs and will they perhaps sync later than other songs? Can it be, that playcount will increase in a few hours for this songs? When not, ist there a better solution syncing back playcount from Android?

MusicBee Wishlist / Progress bar for iTunes import

A progress bar for iTunes import would be nice, if possible, to see how much songs left/scanned.
