Bug Reports / Problem with numbers, dashes and dots in <Title> tag

I've been having a problem when editing title tags which contain numbers that have in between dashes or dots.


Two titles I can't edit:

"10.000 Anos Depois Entre Vénus E Marte" becomes "000 Anos Depois Entre Vénus E Marte"
"42-7-29" becomes "7-29"

When I try to organize some files, the following error shows up. If I copy the formula from a text file to the naming template it works fine, but the next time I try to organize, the error shows up again.

Bug Reports / MusicBee patched gets stuck in my PC / Queue Next when playing random

1 - MB v3.0.5995 works normally in my PC. When I try to apply the latest patch the logo appears and then the window starts to design, but it gets stuck: https://www.mediafire.com/?3hkg92zm7z76518

2 - When I'm playing randomly and I click "Queue Next" in a file, the file does not play after the playing song is over.

To be able to get values from the other file tags of the same album of a song, such as rating and duration and also track count and total duration, so it would be possible to use those values to create a formula for a custom album rating (in a custom or virtual tag).

I think the error happens when rating a song, but I verified that the rating gets written in the file, like it should.

Bug Reports / MusicBee3 not responding

I have updated the portable 2.5 version to v3. MusicBee3 starts and freezes immediately (not responding). I'm running it in Windows 7.
The v2.5 still works fine (except the hotkeys that stopped working since the update), even with the mb3 still running (although v3 not responding).

In the details panel, using the musicbee default layout, when double clicked the images open in their real size. How can I achieve the same behavior using custom layouts?

Questions / "lyrics custom search" and "lyrics in highlighting rules"

I wonder if it's possible to do a custom search using lyrics tag:

<Lyrics> contain "a word"

and also the use of <lyrics> tag in highlighting rules, I often write "instrumental" or "no lyrics" on instrumental songs lyrics tag.

Is there a formula that can verify if a file exists?

This is to use in the highlighting rules, to verify if there's a local file with the video of the song.

Right now I have to use a tag to indicate if there's a video, but I would prefer if the program itself could verify that without having to write it in a tag.

I use the external tools to open the video file, with the path: [directory]\$replace($replace($replace($replace(<artist>,&,),/,),?,),:,)*$replace($replace($replace($replace(<title>,&,),/,),?,),:,)*.*"

It would be useful to have the auto complete and the multiple values option in the Lyricist tag, behaving like the other tags, such as composer, artist, etc.

A way to add a tag value to several files in which the existent tag values are distinct.

Example:

File A ? <composer> = x
File B ? <composer> = y
File C ? <composer> = x; y

*I want to add a common composer (z) to those 3 files.

Result
File A ? <composer> = x; z
File B ? <composer> = y; z
File C ? <composer> = x; y; z

This would be very useful also for the music credits or performers

Questions / Is there a formula to replace invalid file characters?

I have an option to open a video of the song playing, giving a path which has in it the artist and title tags.
Whenever the artist or tile has an invalid file character like the "/" in AC/DC, the path for the file to open does not work.
I was thinking about making a virtual tag "<artist> - <title>".
How can I replace the invalid characters with another character?

When editing multiple file tags at the same time, there would be useful to have something indicating that the tag is not empty. When there are tags with different values in more than 1 file the field in the edit panel appears empty. Something like mp3tag software uses: <keep>, <blank> or a drop down menu to see and choose from the tags written in the files being edited.
