Hi  :)

Ssd/hdd prices've been dropping last years, I'm actually giving my preference to lossless files over MP3s since storage space isn't a money issue anymore.
I get every new piece of music in lossless, and I try to upgrade all my old albums to that format too. But I don't know how to do this "cleanly"...

Is there a way to replace existing MP3s files in my collection by their FLACs homonyms, and keep all the tags (including playcounts, date added...) in the same move ? That way, my old albums will stay exactly the same in my collection, except that they will be sourced to FLACs files instead of MP3s ones.

Hi  :)

Is there a way to keep auto-playlists "recently added files" or "last edited files" without losing files order when backing up whole collection ?
I've backed up my collection before reinstalling Windows (including Musicbee settings and library files), and I'm scared that copying all my music folders on a freshly installed OS will totally messed those playlists...

Does the date/hour I just paste back my whole collection will overwrite the date/hour I added each individual album to my library (before backing up)?
Is there a way to keep this order after backing-up, as I will still find last albums I added to my collection on top of "last added" playlist ?

Sorry but my english is kinda weak and I struggle to describe this better  :-\

Hi everyone !

Today, I experienced a weird error after starting MB and trying to play a song. Here it is :

MusicBee v3.4.8033.18564D  (Win10.0), 27 mai 2022 13:17:

System.NullReferenceException: La référence d'objet n'est pas définie à une instance d'un objet.
   à MusicBeePlugin.Plugin.<ReceiveNotification>d__21.MoveNext()
--- Fin de la trace de la pile à partir de l'emplacement précédent au niveau duquel l'exception a été levée ---
   à System.Runtime.CompilerServices.AsyncMethodBuilderCore.<>c.<ThrowAsync>b__6_1(Object state)
   à System.Threading.QueueUserWorkItemCallback.WaitCallback_Context(Object state)
   à System.Threading.ExecutionContext.RunInternal(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state, Boolean preserveSyncCtx)
   à System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state, Boolean preserveSyncCtx)
   à System.Threading.QueueUserWorkItemCallback.System.Threading.IThreadPoolWorkItem.ExecuteWorkItem()
   à System.Threading.ThreadPoolWorkQueue.Dispatch()
   à System.Threading._ThreadPoolWaitCallback.PerformWaitCallback()

When I click "Ok", MB crash and close.
The weird thing is that the song I choose to play first continue to play if I let the error dialog box opened by not clicking on "Ok". The related album is still playing as I speak, but I cannot interact with Musicbee since the error dialog box is opened on top of it.

Any idea ?

Questions / Downrate each individual song by one star ?
« on: April 06, 2021, 10:46:12 PM »
Hi everyone :)

Is there any way to downrate by one star each individual song of the library ?
Each song formerly rated 5 stars goes down to 4, formerly rated 4 stars goes down to 3 ...and so on.

(I don't know scripting language, but I can learn if guided)

Questions / CRACKLING SOUNDS I Musicbee v3.0.6132 + Focusrite Scarlett 2i4
« on: February 10, 2017, 01:22:34 AM »
Hello you music diggers  8)

I'm experiencing a quite annoying problem while listening tunes on Musicbee (v3.0.6132) when I open a DAW software (Cubase Elements 9) or any music production standalone plugin/vst (Amplitube, Peavey Revalver, Superior Drummer...):

My sound start to crackle at the moment I open one of those software.
I think it's basicaly a buffer size stuff (but not sure), but when I max it out in Musicbee's settings it doesn't change anything to this crackling...

I need to mention that I set Musicbee player output on Asio to load my Focusrite Scarlett USB interface.

There is my setup:

Windows 10 x64, 1607 (14393.693)

Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 (2° gen), with last drivers
Fluid Audio F5 Monitors

Musicbee 3.0.6132, Cubase Elements 9, Amplitube, Peavey Revalver, Superior Drummer

Dell XPS 15 9550:

Intel i7 6700HQ 2,6 / 3,6 GHz
16Gb ram
GeForce GTX 960M 2Gb DDR5 / Intel Iris 530
SSD Samsung 512Gb
