TheaterMode / Theater Mode Plugin Update Question

Hi.
I've got one question regarding the Theater Mode plugin update.
This update created October 21, 2021 broke my Theater Mode List & Theater Mode Embedded.
My XML files are not honored as I did set them up.
Everything changed like resolution, Album Art size etc.
Is there any way for me to use the new mb_TheaterModePlugin.dll without breaking what I've setup in my XML files ?
Probably only Steven can answer that, but if anyone else knows, I would appreciate any feedback regarding this matter.

Questions / Theater Mode Display Issue

Hi.
I've encountered a problem since one of the new versions I've installed.
Don't ask me which update that was, because lately I'm just listening to the music and didn't bother to check the "Now Playing" or the "Theater Mode", but when I did, I noticed that my artwork was out of place.
It's way bigger than it used to be.
The artwork images are 1000x1000 and scaled down by the XML file, embedded artwork is 450x450.
My notebook resolution hasn't changed, it's still 1920x1080
It used to be all good, but not anymore and I don't want to start from scratch again and hope somebody of you guys can give me a hint why that is and what to do.
The XML files are included in this post, hopefully somebody cares to have a look at it and put me back on track.
If you need further info, please let me know.

Questions / Tag Inspector Question ?

Hi.

Can some please tell me why I'm only seeing Vorbis Comments in the MusicBee Tag Inspector ?



On other screenshots I've seen in this forum I see there is ID3v1 - ID3v2 - APEv2 to choose from.

Is this a settings issue ?

In Preferences>Tags (1) tag storage I've got ID3v2.3 selected.

It's not that I'm having any problems but I would like to know.

Questions / Star Rating not working on specifig file ?

Hi.

I'm having a problem with a specifig music file which does not show in the Top Rated Playlist panel even though the file has a 5 star rating (see attached screenshots).

I think I tried everything but can't figure out what the problem is.

Please give me some advise.

I have tracks in my AUTO DJ playlist which are Part 1 & Part 2.

How can I achieve that Part 1 & Part 2 are playing one after the other without being shuffled around in the AUTO DJ playlist ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

MusicBee Wishlist / Animated Background

I'm not sure if I asked about this before - Anyway here I go again.

Since the background images in TM embedded and TM are restricted to a .jpg image, I would love to see the possibility to have an animated .gif or .png as background.

No idea if this is a big thing to accomplish as I'm not a programmer.

Would be nice though, anyway.

Questions / Album Art Question ?

Hi.

I'm having some trouble displaying artwork the way I want.

I used to display embedded artwork only which means all my music files got embedded artwork with the same dimensions.

Now after getting a new laptop with a different screen resolution all the embedded artwork is too small.

The storage location for my music files has a subfolder for every album called Covers wich contains an artwork image 1000x1000 called Front.jpg and that's what I want to be used now, but MusicBee is overriding this and diplays the embedded artwork only.

This is how I configured Tags (1):



Can someone please give me a hand here to accomplish what I want ?

Questions / MusicBee Windows 10 App Restrictions

....... I'm not sure if this is a bug or me doing something wrong.

Anyway, I installed MusicBee Windows 10 App to give it a try and ran into the following issues:

1st Issue:

Unable to create Toolbar Icons, because the Icons folder needs to be placed in the MusicBee installation folder which is impossible because of folder permissions in the %ProgramFiles%\WindowsApps folder.

Even tried with changing permissions to my admin account which allows me to see the folder contents of the win32 folder which is as far as understand the MusicBee Windows 10 installation folder inside ProgramFiles%\WindowsApps, but I'm not not allowed to create a new folder in there.

2nd Issue:

Same as  the 1st issue above while trying to paste the neroAacEnc.exe into the Codec folder.

All my other saved settings and preferences I could manage in the ...\AppData\Local\Packages\50072StevenMayall.MusicBee_kcr266et74avj folder except the Toolbar Icons and the Codec.

If it's not a bug, please let me know what I'm doing wrong .......

Bug Reports / Extented View

....... I think there is a bug in the Extended View, but I'm not sure.


Anyway, I thought I let you know.


In the extended view in the main panel, the cover art displayed to the right has a fraction cut off to the left.


Here a screenshot where you can clearly see that the white frame from the cover is cut off on the left side:





In case you need my settings file, please let me know .......
