Skins / Progress Bar High DPI support

Hello,

It seems adding a _125, _150, _200 png varient for the volume bar works but not for the progress bar.

I can't find a way for my progress bar to display correctly. It's stretched and blurry rather than pixel perfect.


Would it be possible to add support for this.

Questions / Help with embedded album art.

Hello.

I'm trying to remove all the embedded artwork from my music library.

There doesn't seem to be any way I can find to do it as a batch in MusicBee.

So I turned to mp3tag for this. There it is possible to select all the albums, right click on the album cover, choose "remove cover". This works great and there is even a function to remove the excess padding left behind in flac files. So far so good.

But here is the problem.

This is what happens in MusicBee:

MusicBee still links to a non existent embedded artwork.

I rescanned the files and also went to tag1 > artwork > edit list > rescan artwork. Nothing seems to help.

What can I do?

Bug Reports / [SOLVED] Rating jumps in playing tracks panel

In a playing tracks panel, choose "Track with Thumbnail" for the "Playing Tracks Layout".
(it can be configured for either Playing Tracks or Upcoming Tracks)

With rating set as a displayed field on the left side

Click on a track that is currently playing (and is therefore showing the now playing icon) to select it. (1)

and without leaving the position of that track, hover over the rating field. The rating will jump to the left. (2)

if you now move your mouse away from the area of the track and come back to hover the rating you can see it is back to it's desired position (3)

Bug Reports / MusicBee's window rendering glitch

Dragging a window (for example windows explorer) over MusicBee's window causes a dark line to show at the top border.

From my testing it seems to happen to all xlmc skins.

When you take a screenshot of it, you get this:



with a transparent line:

Hello,

I've got this issue where the alternating colors have different sizes (and there is an extra 1 pixel line) in Album and Tracks -> Compact grid view:



I had the issue elsewhere. Even in the Album and Tracks detailed list  view. I fixed it by commenting off lines like this one:

I commented out any ItemSeparatorLine I could find.

But for some reason the issue persists in compact grid view.

In Now playing (main tab)
Using Playing tracks or Upcoming tracks,
And setting the panel to show Album and Tracks with the compact grid option,

The spacing between each album is inconstant if several albums from a same artists are next to each other in the queue.

You can see it in this screenshot where the vertical spacing is larger between the 2 albums from AFØNK.

Questions / Custom font is misaligned (Roboto Flex)

Hello,

I'm using Roboto Flex as a custom font in MusicBee. https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Roboto+Flex

Unfortunately it renders uncentered vertically (it's too low)

The misalignment is visible even right away in the font selection dialog:

Bug Reports / [SOLVED] Visual gaps started appearing in the wave bar.

Hello,

I've started to notice gaps appearing in the wave bar recently. Here is a screenshot of how it looks like:



The place where they appear changes if I rewind and play again.

I'm about 90% sure that this started happening after I updated windows 11 to version 24H2

Anyone else noticing something like this? (I'm on MB 3.6.9065)

I don't understand what that setting actually does.
What is the % of? Is it related in anyway to replaygain values?
