Questions / How to manage libraries with two computers

I have all my music folders on a network drive mapped to my laptop and my desktop computer.
Now when i am ready to make libraries. Should i then save my libraries on the network drive where the music folders are located so
that both my desktop and laptop computers can access and share the same libraries? Or should i have the libraries located on each computer?

Hi

When i use Google Chrome and cast my pc desktop to Nvidia Shield Tv i cannot get any sound from MB.
All other apps and programs ive tried cast the sound. Is there something i can do to fix this?

When clicking on settings to add my location i get this error message "unable to initialize settings. please try again later"
Its been like this since the install.

Questions / MB on dual boot system windows

On my windows 10 desktop machine i have a dual boot system (i have one os optimized for DAW use).

I have MusicBee installed on both OS. But im not really sure if i should use seperate libraries or use the same libraries for both instances.
All libraries points to my music which is stored on a different drive. Any ideas how it should be setup?

Questions / Removing embedded artwork from files

By mistake i embedded some artwork into the music files.
Cant find a way to reverse this process and remove the artwork from the files.
Any ideas?

I have deleted the artwork so its no longer shown in MB, but the files in explorer still shows the artwork.

In the main browser:

Does rightclicking an album, delete from library and computer, suppose to delete the album folder or just the files inside the folder?

MusicBee Wishlist / Autoplay when starting MusicBee

Autoplay when starting MusicBee would be the best update ever.

For example : "on startup: autoplay random album" or resume from last position (Even if ending MusicBee in pause/stop mode)

(No smooth fadeout when closing MB while in playmode)

Resume playback on startup only works if i shut down MB while it is playing a track.
If i pause the track before shutdown, resume playback does not work..

Questions / Cue and Log files when ripping to Flac?

Isnt it suppose to be a log file after ripping a cd to flac?
I get this partially accurate rip status. What does that mean?

Questions / Reorganisation completed with errors

Auto organise:
Most of the albums got reorganised but some were not and i got this message:

"Reorganisation completed with errors"
At the end of the filenames ..Access to the path denied.

Any idea how to solve this?

Questions / Library location

When creating a new musicbee library, is this considered to be the default library location where i should have all my music files?
And if so if i want to keep my music somewhere else how do i change this default location and instead point to the actual library location where my music is located?

Questions / User Account Control Settings

Each time i start MusicBee or right click a file in windows and choose play or queue in MusicBee user account controls pops up and asks:

Do you want to allow this app from an unknown publisher make changes to your pc.

I have lots of other programs instalelled that starts immediately. User account control settings is set to default. I have checked the box "run this program as administrator"
in the properties/compatibility tag. Any idea why i still get the pop up from UAC?

Questions / Lost in the Tango. Help Please..

I will explain in detail how i have setup the folders and organise features.

This is were i have added the first MusicBee library:
C:\Users\Core7\Music\MusicBeeLibraries\MusicDB

Inside the MusicDB folder i have made two subfolders:

C:\Users\Core7\Music\MusicBeeLibraries\MusicDB\Inbox
C:\Users\Core7\Music\MusicBeeLibraries\MusicDB\Monitor

The Music Library is on another drive G:\MusicDB

So now i need to know if things are setup properly in the preferences.

In the Scan Folders for new files i have added the path G:\MusicDB

In the Library Preferences i have auto organise media files checked with 1 rule/line:
move: music, on drive: G:\, to folder: G:\MusicDB\

Monitored folder are checked:
C:\Users\Core7\Music\MusicBeeLibraries\MusicDB\Monitor

Automatically sweep and organise new files checked:
C:\Users\Core7\Music\MusicBeeLibraries\MusicDB\Inbox\

Add to inbox and continuosly monitor checked.

Before i start adding folders..Does this look like a proper setup?
Please let me know. Thanks for all help.
