When you edit a tracks start and end time (right-click>edit>settings). It would be cool if that edit was also uploaded to portable devices when doing a sync. From my experience - its not.
Even better, when viewing the library in track detail it should display tracks like this:
-The chemical brothers - don't think 7:44
-The chemical brothers - don't think (0:00 - 5:34) <--this expands below from the original track and is not counted as a new track.
-The chemical brothers - don't think (1:23 - 3:20) <--ability to have multiple edits of a track.
This way you have an option of playing the original track without losing the option to play your time edited version...by default it would play tracks normally without including the edited versions unless you click to play the edited version.
And, how about a whole new right-click menu option called 'edit track' then a panel opens up with a 'WAVE BAR' and from there you can select the start and stop inputs visually, just like in Audacity/Goldwave. Man, would that be neat!!!
Basically, more options to the way a user can edit start and stop times of tracks and the way its displayed is what I'm requesting.
Note, I am perfectly aware of ways of doing the above with a combination of other programs, but having the ability to do it within MusicBee would be awesome. Using Mp3edit lets me edit the track with a wave bar, but adding it to MusicBee would take up disk-space, and be counted as a whole new track, thus messing up my proper album collection...
Thanks for listening...
