Questions / MB won't overwrite (replace) artwork

I have MB set to embed artwork in file and save as folder.jpg. When I select an album and select "search internet for picture", then select the image i want and save... it will embed the new image to the files but won't replace the folder.jpg. If i delete the image from the folder then it will save it.

I appologize if it's been answered before or if I'm missing something.. I've been searching, changing settings, ran as administrator... etc.. can't figure it out.

My songs were tagged with picard and has added the performer tags.
In MB, the artist column browser on the left, when I select "artist".. it shows the performer tags as artsts in the column. So for example it shows...

Lana Del Rey
Lana Del Rey (Lead Vocal)
Lana Del Rey (Background Vocal)
Lana Del Rey (Spoken Vocal)
Lana Del Rey (effects)

Is there a way to have MB only display the artist tags when I select "artist"

Questions / Multiple libraries using one artist/thumb folder?

I have two libraries. Is it an issue to have both mapped to and sharing the same artist/thumb image folder? The only issue I could think of is if MB deletes unused artist images when artists are removed from the library.

Questions / Artist with no music in library

I have several artists that show in the left panel but when selected don't have any music. I don't believe they have music either. All these artists have multiple names separated by ";". Example... Willy nelson; Jonny cash. Either files that got tagged differently or files that no longer exist. How can I get rid of these? I've scanned the folders several times.

Is there a tool? plugin? or something that can add the option to bulk tag images? More specifically....

1-remove any embeded images
2-link to the location of the album image (album artist\album\folder.jpg)
3-link to the location of the media label (album artist\album\cdart.png)
4-link to the image of the artist/band (album artist\folder.jpg)

or atleast one step at a time...

Questions / can't paste artowrk from windows explorer copy?

Trying to "paste artwork" for artist, genre thumbs etc.. I can copy from an internet browser window and paste to the thumbnail. But I can't copy a file from windows explorer from my folders. The "paste artwork" option just stays grayed out. This is running MB as administrator as well. Is this normal or not?

Questions / SOLVED: Custom application help

Can someone help me figure out how to setup a custom application option in MB to open the selected track detail in the Musicbrainz website? For example... .jump to the artist or release group?

I have mapped all the musicbrainz tags using the custom tags (not sure I can leave them like this as it uses up many of the available custom tags. But will help me see some gaps right now)

I figured out how to add applications like picard and mp3tag to send the selected file to. And I can add the url to go to the musicbrainz website. But can't figure out how to utilize the tag so I can have for example...

MusicBrainz Artist (jump to artist in Musicbrainz)
Music Brainz Album...(jump to album page in musicbrainz)

MusicBee Wishlist / Easier process to tag occasion/mood

Would be nice to have a much easier process to add/remove tags from mood and occasion. Would be awesome if it was as easy as tagging rating. Maybe a panel that can be displayed and as a music file plays one could simply select one to add/remove. One would be able to just have the music playing in the background and simply tag the files as they play.

Questions / MusicBrainz tag issue

I created custom tags to be able to view all the Musicbrain tags in my files. Between all the album ID's, artist ID's, country, release type, etc. . I think there are 8 tags in total. I've been able to get Musicbee to show the tags for all of them for flac, aac, and mp3 files. With the exception of the "Musicbrainz track ID" for MP3 files. This tag is not even visible in the tag inspector.

I can tag a file in Musicbrainz Picard.
It will show that it tags the file with the "track ID"
I can open the MP3 in MP3tag and view the tag in that.
But I open the tag inspector in MusicBee and nothing shows up.

This is for all MP3's.
Odd thing is that all the tags in the MP3 are in the "musicbrainz release track ID", "musicbrainz release group ID" format, etc... While the tag for the track Id is "musicbrainz_tackID" format

Is this an error in Musicbee or in the way picard is writing the tag to the MP3

Questions / Easiest method to tag mood/occasion

The only way I can find to tag occasion and mood with multiple values is to type in each one individually with the separator into each individual music file. If I want to add one tag to a file or add a tag to multiple files it will rewrite everything.

Is there an easier way to add a mood/occasion to a song/batch of songs?

Something like "append tag to files" or a panel that one can have up with buttons or boxes to quickly select any moods/occasions you want appended to or removed from the selected songs?
