Bug Reports / Links in Track Information panel open Music Explorer tab?
« on: December 31, 2020, 01:03:58 PM »
Hello, hello o/
I'm using version 3.4.7670 and no matter where I click/which link I click in the track information panel, it opens a Music Explorer tab instead of opening a tab in Chrome. It even happens if I try and rate a song. If I right click and the menu pops up, those links open correctly in Chrome. This also happened in 3.4.7663, but not in the version I had before that (which was probably a few months old? sadly I deleted it and it's not on my backup drive). Hopefully that makes sense.

Bug Reports / Custom web link error.
« on: May 10, 2017, 03:20:39 PM »
I get this error when I click on a particular custom weblink:

MusicBee v3.1.6338.35797 (Win10.0), 10 May 2017 10:08:

Information:
The tag is stored in custom tag Website.
Setup as <Website> in one of the custom web links section.
Text contained in tag resembles https://terrihendrix.bandcamp.com i.e. only a website link.
The other customs web links work fine, it's just this one with only a website that gives me the error.
I have it set to open links in my browser.
In testing, I plugged the website tag into my last.fm web link: http://www.last.fm/music/<Website>/<Album> and it will (poorly) search while not giving the error, so I don't think it's the tag itself?

Bug Reports / (Solved, I'm an idiot) Ghost genres in autocomplete.
« on: April 16, 2017, 01:22:30 PM »
I'm using 3.1.6314 and when using autocomplete on genre, the drop-down menu shows ghost entries.
They don't appear in the column browser.

Using 3.1.6252
On the first tags page when you select a field to edit and then switch to the next file using the arrow buttons, the cursor stays in the same field.

On Tags(2) when you select a field to edit and then switch to the next file, the cursor loses focus and you have to select the field again.

It keeps focus in 3.0.6230 (which I use as a portable version) so I'm guessing it changed somewhere in the 3.1 update?

I was wondering if there could be an indicator of some sort that shows the difference between a field with multiple entries in it and a field with no entries in it when editing multiple files.

For instance, in this image:

the producer field in the selected files has different values for each track, but the editing window shows blank/no values.

In this image:

the producer field in the selected files is blank and the editing window shows blank/no values.

This can often be confusing/misleading if the field in question is not visible in the main view.

(Yes I know upfirst is misspelled, it was good for a chuckle so I left it that way.)
