Questions / Panel appeared by the side of my album thumbnails. How to remove it?

I've managed to push a button or dragged something and I now have an explorer type panel where I did have a extra row for my albums. I cant seem to find where to turn it off completely. MusicBee is so customisable that it's too much sometimes and I can't work out what I did years ago to get things the way I want them!



Could someone tell me how I can get rid of this panel? I marked it in red.

Questions / Correct way to save all settings, stats etc? Transfer to another PC?

I've finally got MusicBee setup with my collection and am really enjoying using it. I also have a copy of my music collection on a second PC which I'd like to setup musicbee on too.

Looking through the settings, I'm not seeing a method which will allow me to transfer the stats which Musicbee creates? I'd like to be able to transfer these across initially.

On that note, I'd like to make sure that when I do my normal backups that I also backup MusicBee and its settings too. It may seem like a small thing but it's quite fascinating to go through the stats sometimes and I'd hate to lose them! Is there a standard way in which MusicBee does this?

Another quick question I've not been able to answer, is there a way to lock MusicBee's interface? So that it can't be alter, such as moving panels and changing their sizes accidentally? I've saved the layout but a lock function would be great.

Any advice much appreciated.

Questions / How do I remove the dead space in the Track Information panel?

Hi there!

I've been trying to work this out by myself for ages and I finally give up! Could someone please tell me how to remove the dead space (shown in red) here? The edit panel doesn't include it anywhere that I can see. Surely it must be possible in such a flexible program?



Any advice much appreciated.

Questions / Layout configuration files?

Hi guys

New to Musicbee, installed it yesterday and finding it to be a really excellent program.  However, I am finding the learning curve for layout editing quite steep. Are there configuration files of other peoples layouts that can be downloaded? I've been checking out theatre modes and new skins but what I really want are different library layout choices. For instance threads for peoples new skins show images of their layout configs. I really want those but the skins themselves obviously just change colours, fonts etc. Can peoples layout configs be installed? Is there a place where they are available?

Any help much appreciated.
