Questions / Adding text to a subheader
« on: August 21, 2015, 09:37:54 PM »
Hi all, I got a question.
First of all, please look at this picture (it's my MusicBee current setup):

I've orderred the albums by album name and set the disc number as subheader.
What I'd like to do is, in the disc number subheader (the parts circled in red) have an additional text, for example, instead of just the disc number, something like "Disc #" and the disc number.

Is there any way to do this?

Thanks in advance.

MusicBee Wishlist / Ignore subfolders
« on: August 10, 2014, 11:24:34 PM »
Something to put on the next-to-do: the ability to ignore certain subfolders on the monitored folder.
Let's say I've told MusicBee to watch the C:\Music folder. What I suggest is an extra box to tell MusicBee to ignore, for example, C:\Music\IgnoreMe and C:\MusicBee\NotToBeAddedToLibraryYet . Obviously I can remove any of them from the Ignored list and it'll behave normally.

MusicBee Wishlist / 2 new options in Device Settings
« on: July 24, 2014, 02:51:36 AM »
Hi, I'd like to propose 2 changes in the Device Settings window:

- Actually, when specifying destinatuion paths in Device Settings, you're forced to use a combination of tags to create a directory on the MTP device. Under the "Storage Path" box, in the "Music files", "Audiobook files" and "Podcast files", add the posibility to put the music file's folder as the folder on the MTP device. Like:

- I usually prepare my music files before adding them to the Library (tagging, artwork and such). When I sync music to my phone, MusicBee either removes the embedded artwork or offers to copy it as an external file. In the "Artwork storage", add an option like "Do not alter", which would instruct MusicBee to do nothing with the artwork.

Thanks in advance for the help, and thanks for your hard work on MusicBee.

Questions / Playlists without BOM in Android
« on: July 22, 2014, 04:50:23 AM »

I've had some problems transferring my music to my HTC One. Basically, everything gets transferred properly (even with Japanese characters in the filename/content!). But Poweramp doesn't recognize some of the files the playlists point to.
I tried uploading music with MediaMonkey (ew!) and everything works OK (both configured to send playlists as M3U). The big difference I found is that MediaMonkey sends the playlists as UTF-8 with BOM, and MusicBee sends them as UTF-8 without BOM.
How can I configure MusicBee to fix this?

Thanks in advance,
