If you have the "Store" version of MusicBee it cannot be patched.
I have been running the 3.5 version of Music bee...also the above patch did not do the trick this time.
There are 3 different versions/types of 3.5.x MusicBee--the Installer, Portable, and Store versions.  In the Help/About dialog there is an abbreviation after the version number that says what type you have.
HERE IT IS: 3.5.8419

The first time I had this problem ..I downloaded a Patched version of MB, and that did the trick...
Perhaps a similar fix is required
You didn't say what version of MB you are using.  The 3.5 RC3 full versions are available here: https://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=36464.msg208192#msg208192

There are patched versions of MusicBee uploaded about weekly: https://getmusicbee.com/patches/MusicBee35_Patched.zip

Good Morning Steven,
I have been using  MusicBee for over a decade now. I was one of the people who requested this HDCD plug in.
Every system I've had I have installed MusicBee and this plug in. Took some work but I always got this plug in to work.
UNTIL NOW! I have followed this forum and followed all advice concerning installing and using MusicBee and this HDCD plug in.
I have a brand new TrigKey S3 14gigs ram 500gigs storage with Windows 11 pro.....
Any suggestions?

This is just what I was looking for.....but it responds very slowly to a big library . I have 65,000 tracks that I am trying to export (The Tags)I tried to break my library up into Lossless and lossy and thought that it was not going to work when low and behold after about 10 minutes the preview finally previewed...but I cant seem to do both together..
I have Windows 7 pro(Free update from School!!!)
4 gigs ram
plenty of storage
ADM Athlon II 2.80 ghz
Quad core....                         This is not a slow computer and generally I have no problems...Music Bee Lags sometimes but with a big library,I think that is to be expected...Lossy took approx 10 minutes for 41,000 tracts Lossless was only about 2-3 minutes for the rest   so far i have been waiting 11 minutes for all tracks Lossy and lossless combined....13 minutes...15...I will post again if it ever preview my whole library

Thank you so much for this plugin . This is exactly what i was looking for. After I installed it it took me a couple minutes to figure out that I had to go into Preferences to enable it.
Seems to have a problem with my library of 65,000 tracks...will not preview...I am going to see if I can get it to export...which is what I want it for anyway.

MusicBee Wishlist / Database export to EXCEL
« on: July 16, 2011, 12:16:40 AM »
Is there a way to save the music database to an Excel Doc that has the artist in a column album in a column, name of track, extension all in separate columns so I can sort and play around with the whole library in an Excel sheet...I know zilch about databasses but I did like that Media Monkey it had the option to export library to excel..Can we do this in Music Bee...This would be a nice feature....I will post this in the wishlist too.

Questions / Re: DTS Wav - SACD Rip
« on: April 08, 2011, 06:46:32 AM »
You'll have to ask Steven he deals with that company BASS for most of the codecs for playback...I cant see why he couldnt add the feature...but then again I cant seem to get him to do HDCD playback for flac files that have the HDCD flag...so who knows...I do believe the DTS thing is alot simpler maybe you could go to the BASS website to see if they deal with DTS playback...I think you find the web address when you click "about" in Music Bee!

Questions / Re: DTS Wav - SACD Rip
« on: April 08, 2011, 06:09:33 AM »
I hate to say this because I love Music Bee but there are a few things it cant do...Play HDCD and DTS are the only 2 that effect me...What I do is take the DTS wav and use foobar to convert it to a 5.1 flac file...Then Music Bee will play the Flac File with the 5.1 surround sound...I just converted a bunch of Porcupine Tree albums just like that with foobar. Also to my knowledge there are no DTS SACD's What you may have is
a. aDTS CD converted to wave or
b. a rip from a DVD Audio that also had aDTS section or
3.Someone played a SACD back in real time and took the 6 audio outs and hooked them up to a PC that had DTS Software on it to make the resulting 5.1 wave file(s)
I am guessing the first one...You have to watch out too There are starting to be alot of DTS files that are made from Stereo files also AC3 files...these guys (WWW.DTSAC3.com) have a whole system for doing it BUT no matter what they do it is STILL FROM A STEREO MASTER SO IT IS A MATRIX SURROUND RECORDING UPSAMPLED AND UPMIXED TO 5.1....It is not the same as true surround or even true quad...I just listened to a copy of Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd made from an old Q8 Quad 8Track and it was astounding. The separation was soooo much better than a version I have  made with the method from The above web site  www.dtsac3.com
Peace From Philly
JIM
PS I sure wish I could write code cause I would help Steven implement these features....but I cant....YET!

Skins / Re: 'Midnight' Skin

Very Nice skin...kinda reminds me of a Media Monkey skin (in Color ) This is now my default skin. I know nothing of xml files and all that but seeing this skin makes me wanna take a peak at the "how to Skin" section. I like dark skins ...there are never enough of them and never enough variation...perhaps I could fix that....Can someone please point me to the How to skin page?
Thank you for a wonderful looking skin ***** five stars

I know we have the ability to rip HDCD CD's to 24 bit files but...are we gonna be able to decode the files we already have that are encoded with HDCD...I have a ton of HDCD flac files...I was wondering if this is still on the list...would very much like this in MB also
would like CD burning...I can't believe that I can't burn a CD with MB...Hmmm other that those 2 things.... Music Bee>SANSA FUZE>ROCKBOX has givin me the most reliable High quality Music experience that I have ever experienced ;D ;) :)
I was really surprised about no CD burning...Maybe i am missing something or is that one of the ways we keep our footprint small??/
