Skins / Re: Change artist View/Album selection background color
« on: March 24, 2023, 06:50:33 PM »
I cannot seem to find the extended panel settings.
Click on the "Albums" header menu > customise panel... > show settings > untick "auto-pick panel colours"

I am getting ready to try and play with skins, and I am wondering if there is a way to have those backgrounds all the color of my choosing?
Everything you will need to know: https://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=22300.0
Feel free to ask further should you still require assistance.

AHA!

Thank you very very much! I never would have found that.

Thanks!

I am so sorry, as I am new to Musicbee.

I cannot seem to find the extended panel settings.

Where is it? I don't see it in layout 1, or layout 2 settings.

This is the background I am talking about. Color set depending on the color of the album.

Skins / [Solved] Change artist View/Album selection background color
« on: March 22, 2023, 03:37:54 AM »
I hope this makes sense.

When going into artists view, and selecting an album, the background of the panel that displays the album seems to pull colors from the album cover.

If the album is red, the background is red, album is yellow, the background is yellow, blah blah.

I am getting ready to try and play with skins, and I am wondering if there is a way to turn off this dynamic color selection, and have those backgrounds all the color of my choosing?

Anyone know what I am talking about?

Questions / [Solved] Playlist with music from multiple libraries
« on: March 18, 2023, 11:13:30 PM »
So I made a playlist tab, and started dragging music to it, and everything was going great.

I opened a different library, and realized that I am unable to add songs to the playlist from the second library.

How should I be doing this correctly, or is it not possible to have a playlist that spans multiple libraries?

Thanks!

Questions / Re: Portable 3.5.8447 Cannot rezise Visualiser Graphic
« on: March 16, 2023, 10:23:42 PM »
I am using the visualizer: graphic not the spectrum analyzer.
It will say "visualiser: graphic" in the panel layout box no matter what type is selected, as below:

The name appears in the View->Visualiser menu ("classic" is selected here):

I don't know why you can't resize the upper border, maybe someone else can help.

OK, your post helped me fix it!

I noticed you had the visualiser above the status bar, while I had it dead last in the order.

I moved it above the status bar, and I can now resize it.

Thank you so so much!

I am using the visualizer: graphic not the spectrum analyzer.

I am sure I am grabbing the correct spot as I get the up/down arrow cursor, but it does not drag to resize.

So I installed Classic Spectrum Analyzer, https://www.getmusicbee.com/addons/visualizer/368/classic-spectrum-analyzer/

and have the same issue. The header bar shows, the drag cursor pops up, but I cannot drag to resize.

I cannot resize the Visualiser Graphic. It seems to be a set height.

I have tried do drag with the mouse, and while I do get the resize cursor, it will not actually move the height up or down.

While trying to resize, the Visualiser Graphic was in the bottom panel of my layout.

Is there a trick, or is there an ini setting that I can change to adjust the height of this?

Thanks!
