MusicBee Wishlist / Placement option - Mini-Player
« on: September 24, 2023, 05:58:34 AM »
So far if you have the Mini-player as "Wide Layout (with album art)", you place it somewhere in the screen where a percentage of that Mini-Player is hidden (or practically "out of the screen bounds"), the next time you are gonna go to the Mini-Player mode, it won't remember that it was somewhat hidden.
I suppose this is on purpose, so that in case Mini-Player gets lost somewhere, the user will be able to find it easily next time he goes in the Mini-Player mode.
Could an option be added in the settings to disable this behaviour?

For example this:

will become this when the Mini-Player mode gets reactivated

MusicBee Wishlist / Re: Mini Player Doesn't Remember Last Position
« on: May 20, 2023, 11:59:42 AM »
An update on this one. Contrary to my previous understanding, I've discovered that the Mini Player actually remembers its last position as long as the X button (close button) on the player is positioned above the taskbar line. It's probably by designed to ensure that the Mini Player remains accessible when it is placed in an area where the cursor cannot easily reach it.

In my case, I use "TranslucentTb" to make the taskbar translucent and I position the Mini Player above it. Even though this makes the player unresponsive after a while (I can't click on it or generally interact with it when the Mini Player goes in the background) I can still see the album art, song title, artist, and duration of each song.

Is it possible to have an option that allows the Mini Player to remember its last position, regardless of where it is placed on the screen?

I don't get why crowdfunding since you haven't find someone willing to work on this project. Your intentions might be pure but they don't seem that way. You are practically gonna keep the money until and IF someone takes this project. Seems like a scam to me

Instead of having to manually go through all of them when you don't remember where this setting is located

MusicBee Wishlist / Hide options from the right click menu
« on: July 31, 2022, 11:25:06 PM »
It would be nice if we could hide some specific things from the right click menu that we never use. Myself I never use the 'Queue Random, 'Search' and the 'Auto-tag' option. They take unnecessary  space and make it a little bit more difficult to search for the other options that you are looking for.
And hiding options from the sub-menus like the 'Play Back Speed', from the 'Play More...' menu

Questions / Play by artist
« on: July 31, 2022, 11:18:16 PM »
Hello,

Is there a way to play all songs from a single artist? For example I wanna listen to all songs artist 'X' is a part of. By right clicking one of the songs that artist 'X' did by himself, play more, play artist 'X', it won't play the songs that artist 'X' is featured in. Is there a way to play ALL the songs that artist 'X' is part of?
The answer is probably very obvious but I can't find it

MusicBee Wishlist / Mini Player Doesn't Remember Last Position
« on: July 18, 2022, 02:13:53 PM »
Is it possible for the Mini Player to remember its last position on the screen?

For example I rarely use the full screen mode. And I frequently change it to the Mini Player (Wide Layout) cause I like to have my open windows in an order. And I place the Mini Player above the taskbar.
Now every time I open Music Bee I have to drag the Mini Player from the top-left of the screen, to the taskbar and align it so it doesn't protrudes from it. It would be extremely convenient if the Mini Player was 'locked' there every time I switch to it. I'm pretty sure the Narrow Layout works this way
