Yeah, i guess things changed with updates to the software. i'm still with v2.1.4770 in which the skin works as it was intended to.
Unfortunately, I no longer have the time to update my skins, though i'm sure it is manageable to anyone with enough will and time.

yeah there's a way. you see where the header says "Download: Pop Blue.xml"? just click that Pop Blue text and you'll get the file.

Uploaded Pop Blue, here.

Can't really help you with the Library Explorer right now. my advice for you is to keep halving the code, until you finally see a change in the element you're looking for. minimizing the code until you're left with just a few lines, one of which for sure will change that element.

Gosh, those links, can't they stay online for more than a few days?

(I just can't get rid of the green 'ticks' in Preferences panel)

Check image element "CheckTick".
Visit the skinning guide regarding image elements if you need any help with those kind of elements.

Sorry, it is missing and the default skin is XMLC for a long time now too, I didn't realized..

I have this Old Default XML file but I can't guarantee it's any good, for some reason I can't change my MusicBee skin.. anyway you can check it out.

Also you should PM Steven and ask him about the Default skin's XML. surly he'll have it.

SteelaAndBee source files.

The default skin XML file is the the skins folder in your MusicBee installation folder.
You can download the latest beta release, and find it there if it's missing from your folder.

Hey willemts,

This has been discussed before. if you'd like, you can run a forum search and read all about it.
The gist of it being, that while everybody agrees it's a good feature to have, it's not as easy to implement as it might seem and time can be better spent elsewhere.

You sure can, check out the Skinning Guides to help get you started.
Visit the Bitmap Skinning topic for some info on how to add bitmaps to your skins.

Good luck,

I think bitmap based skinning can help you with that.
