Plugins / Re: MusicBee Remote (Remote Control for Android)
« on: January 28, 2022, 01:08:27 PM »
Hello!

I've been using this app and I must say that I'm so happy to be able to control MusicBee from another room with my Bluetooth speakers. But!
I think I have a pair of problems that I'm not sure to know if they are already available.

The first one is that, after already having the PC and the App connected between them,  the Audio Output List seems to not update when I switch on my speakers and sync them to the computer (even after closing and opening again the app), is there a way to refresh this output list?

The second one, is that I usually like to listen to all my library, but it seems that I can't find that option. I can access the library but I don't see how to play everything.

Probably both of them have already a solution but I don't know how can I do them. Any tips?

Hope everyone is having a nice day!

Hello frankz!

I had clear list and play album only and changed to clear list and play all tracks.

I think that did the trick.

Thank you very much!

Hello,

I've been doing some testing just to make sure in which situations this behavior happens, so everyone has more information. I've found the following;

- When doublecliking a Playlist, the playlist panel and the playing track opens with the songs of that playlist.

(I understand that the playlist panel is the one at the middle, here a screenshot)

- If I press "Next" the next track will be from that playlist.

- After this, if I doubleclick any track at the playlist panel, the playing list will be changed from the playlist's tracks to the album tracks.

- Now, if I press Next, the next song will be from the album of that double clicked track.

Maybe I was hoping that doubleclicking a track at the Playlist panel would maintain the playlist tracks and just change the song I wanted to be played. I found that I can do that if I double click the track at the Playing Tracks panel instead.

- Also, if the playlist has only one song, pressing next will always play another song from that album regardless of what I do.

Given this test I made, maybe I wasn't actually having an unexpected behavior.

Hope this helps.

Hello everyone,

I've noticed that since some update (I don't remember which one, sorry), when I'm playing a Playlist, my "Next" hotkey chooses a new track from the album that track is from instead of the next track in that particular playlist.

Before trying to remove or reinstall everything, I would like to ask here if anyone had this situation or if maybe is something in the Preferences that may be doing this, or... if that's the supposed behavior...

If you need more information don't hesitate to ask.

Edit: I think I must add that pressing Next in Music Bee has the same behavior.

Thank you very much.

MusicBee Wishlist / Access to next track album cover in theater mode
« on: January 19, 2013, 05:59:46 PM »
As a suggestion I received from this post: http://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=8563.0

I'm writing here to see the possibility of having access to the album cover of the next tracks that are going to be played in theater mode.
My intention is that the cover seen at the right panel to be actually of the next track. Don't know if this is possible right now as I'm not very familiar yet with the edit possibilities of the xml files.

Thank you very much.

TheaterMode / Help placing the albumcover of the next track
« on: January 19, 2013, 12:23:24 PM »
Hello everybody.

I'm looking for some help with trying to get the cover of the next track in theater mode for my "design". Here is what I got so far.

My interest is to show the cover at the right side, in the right panel, corresponding to that track that is going to play next.
I'm not very sure how the fields work yet so I don't know if this is possible. As much as I understand, there is a field called Track[1] that contains the info of the next track, but regardless of what I try I always get the cover of the track currently playing.

I hope I explained myself correctly.

Thank you very much.
