Bug Reports / Re: Suddenly no sound anymore on any of my ouput devices

Right-click the "speaker" icon in the lower right corner of the desktop by the clock, and choose "Open Volume Mixer";  now check that while playing MusicBee, the slider there is all the way up, as shown below.

Thanks a lot, that was the solution! I have seen and used the Volume Mixer before, but somehow failed to open it earlier today  :'( . Who knows, how/why this was set to mute ...

Bug Reports / Suddenly no sound anymore on any of my ouput devices
« on: January 24, 2022, 01:12:47 PM »
After having used MusicBee for several months (if not years) it suddenly stopped playing any sound. I can see the soundbar moving but I don't hear anything. I did try mute/unmute and moving the volume slider up and down.  I also selected different output devices: "Primary Sound driver", "Realtek High definition Audio", "Logi Z407". Neither one plays the sound.
Until earlier today I did have MusicBee 3.4.7805 installed. After it stopped working, I updated to 3.4.8033. Since that didn't bring any improvement, I de-installed it completely and re-installed 3.4.8033 again. All without any success.
I do hear the system sounds and when I start Windows Media Player, it can hear the music - just MusicBee quit working  :(  .
I have Windows 10 Pro 21H2 (Build 19044, 1499) on a Lenovo T550.
I also did have fxsound 1.1.9.0 installed, which worked fine until this morning. After the problems with MusicBee appeared, the first thing to do was de-installing fxsound and rebooting - without any success.

Any ideas?

Not only Avast, while I was able to install MusicBee 3.3.7491 without any problems, Norton 360 reports all beta versions to be infected with Heur.ADVMLB.
