I did a check for updates, and it shows me the latest version of MusicBee is 3.5.  I even asked AI and it said...

When looking at mine it shows this...

So did I go into the future and download a later version (HA! HA! HA!), or is mine just wrong?

What version of MB are you using? (Help > About) INCLUDE THE LETTER (if any) AFTER THE NUMBER  (3.6.8849)
How was MB installed? (Store, Installer, Portable) (Installer)
MB doesn't support any Apple devices so how are you trying to sync to the iPhone?
Per your screenshot, the location you're trying to sync to doesn't exist. Either edit to the correct path in MB device settings, or change the path on the iPhone.
It might be helpful if you post a screenshot of the device settings from MB.

I used the installer for version 3.6.8849.  There is no letter after it.

I am just trying to not have to maintain playlists on both MusicBee and iTunes.  I really like MusicBee on my computer, and it's so easy creating the playlists.

Is there a way to transfer playlists from MusicBee back to iTunes?   Just wondering.

Portable Devices / Iphone 13 Pro Max Help Syncing

I want to use Musicbee to manage my songs on my Iphone 13 Pro Max.

When I go to sync my playlists to my phone I get this message...

When I go to my Iphone "Internal Storage" it only brings up picture folders.

How can I fix this so I can sync my playlists to my Iphone.

Thank you to everyone who helped.

I just installed the new version on my data drive.  And it did fix the issues that I was having.

I have even updated to version 3.6.8849.

I love this app.  It gives me everything that I need.

Unfortunately it's not being blocked.  Windows has certain folders that they don't allow you to add or remove files.

What if I uninstall the version that I have, and then reinstall the website version in a non-protected drive / folder?  I could then run the update.

My worry is I would lose all of my playlists, etc.

I have downloaded the file to update my MusicBee software from version 3.5.8447 to version 3.5.8698.  I downloaded the file from the MusicBee website not from Microsoft Store.  The file I downloaded is MusicBee_Setup_3_5_8698.exe.

When I run the update I get the following error...

"Unable to locate MusicBee.exe - run this installer from the folder MusicBee is installed".



I cannot run the installer from the folder MusicBee is installed because that folder is in Program Files which is denied access.

My copy of MusicBee is doing some weird things and I wanted to see if the new version fixes them.

My OS is Windows 11 Pro.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

But that's just it.  I ONLY have 4 providers, there are no more options.  In an earlier answer you said you have like 11 providers.  How do I add more than what I have?

Glad to hear the it seems to be working now. But do check the ordering of the providers. You may find some work better than others and you should have those near the top of the list.

Regarding the Store version, patches can't be applied and it only gets updated when Steven issues a new release, or discovers and fixes a truly major bug. For the most part, you're better off with the Installer or Portable versions.

phred, where do I go to change the order of the providers?

MusicBee Version 3.4.7547

It was installed with installer from the website.  I had to uninstall and reinstall because I originally installed it from the Microsoft store, and they have an older version, and it wouldn't let me upgrade to the latest version.

I think it is just a search thing... it's been playing for while now, and it seems to be displaying the correct lyrics.
