I could be wrong but as far as I can tell the media overlay for windows 11 has been moved into the flyout when you click the sound/network icon on the bottom right side of your taskbar. In Windows 11, this plugin adds Musicbee controls to that flyout menu.

I like it but if it reduces the speed of MB I don't want it ;)
I'd prefer the image not to be blurred and instead have a transparent black overlay over it so that you can read the text.

I had thought about this as well after making the post. There could be a light mode and a dark that each put a lighter or darker tint on the pattern so that text would be readable with both dark and light themes.

Would it be possible to automatically derive a background image for the UI that is a blur/gradient of the current album art? Something like the Rdio Style or Cover List versions of theater view already do a pretty good job of making a suitable image but it's confined to theater view.

MusicBee Wishlist / Rescan Artwork - Hotkey
« on: July 31, 2021, 05:24:37 AM »
I would really appreciate if we could get hotkey support for the Preferences > Tags (1) > Artwork > Edit List > Rescan Artwork option. It's a lot of clicking to go through to get to it and I use it quite often because my artwork isn't always scanned upon first entering my library due to my sorting functions. :)

Portable Devices / Syncing album art files with Android
« on: August 26, 2020, 08:32:51 PM »
I'm having trouble syncing my album art files alongside my music files with my Android. The music syncs as it's supposed to (untouched), but I would like Musicbee to also transfer the album art files that are inside of each album folder. These are mostly just files named cover.jpg, folder.jpg or front.jpg.  My goal is to just have them transferred without alteration, meaning same name, same size, and in the same directory as if I was just transferring the album with Windows Explorer. Is there an option in the Musicbee sync settings that will achieve this?

I do not want to embed the art in any files that aren't already embedded with art, and I don't want anything not already named "folder.jpg" to be renamed to that, which I'm assuming is what the third artwork storage option does. I tried "copy to the same folder as music file" and left the preset file name blank, and when I synced an album with a "cover.jpg", it gave gave me a tiny file called "cover.alb" in place of it. Is there possibly some preset name I can put in that field that will just keep the same file name as on my PC?
