Ultimately, my solution was not a one-step load from a folder to my e:...\music directory. Instead, as noted in the original email, I did the File>File/Scan Folder using my removable drive directory. MB added the tracks from the removable drive into the MB library, but still leaving them on the removable drive. I then highlighted all the tracks just added in the main MB Music view, went to Tools>Organize Files where all the highlighted files were showing in the "original filename" window. I entered the file directory for my e:...\music directory to the "to folder" and pushed "Reorganize" button. All the tracks were moved from the removable drive to the main music directory. NOTE: This is a "move" operation, so the music on the removable drive will be deleted if it is in fact moved. As a sidenote, if there are any tag errors in the tracks (track/disc # missing, etc.), these will not be moved and have a error entry as a warning in the original filename window. They also will not be deleted from the removable drive. Finally, if all tracks are moved with no errors, your root directory on the removable drive will also be deleted, as well as one of the tracks mysteriously will remain in the "original filename" window, and show a status of "No Change", even though it has been moved. I simply uncheck the entry the next time I am moving more tracks into MB on the next cycle.
