Plugins / Re: UPnP/ DLNA device support
« on: February 02, 2019, 06:08:31 PM »
I use this plugin to stream to my DENON audio receiver.
Everything's working just fine, except that sometimes MusicBee simply does NOT scrooble sometimes tracks to last.fm. Also the "played"-counter does not count one up. If I change the output to my PC-speaker it works.

Did anyone face the same problems like me and has some insight what's going wrong here?

And yes, I know that this plugin is not actively supported anymore. Hoping for help anyways! :)

Thank you for Version 2.0, Steven. Works like a charm until now.  8)

MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, K-Lite Codec pack and... MUSICBEE - this is "must have" software list on my computer! Well done!
should be:
"LibreOffice, Gimp, ffdshow and... MUSICBEE"
Than I have to admit. ;)

Argh. Just found this "missing" option. How embarrassing.  :D
Right-click is your friend  :D.

Solution:

1. right-click into file-explorer area
2. Manage Folders -> Include Files from sub-folders (activate)

Sorry, my bad.  :-\

Hello there,

I just discovered following problem: when I use MusicBee's integrated file explorer, it shows my only a music album, when I select the album folder.

For example:
When I select in the file explorer following directory "..\Music\2012\02\Abbey_ov_Thelema-A_Fragment_ov_the_Great_Work", then MusicBee shows the album in the main panel. So far, so good.

But when I select "..\Music\2012", it shows me only an empty main panel. Would be could, if MusicBee would show me ALL albums within the selected directory.

I hope, you understand, what I am trying to tell you ;).

Kind regards,
Legion

Well, years ago I used WinAMP, then I switched to MediaMonkey, because I just loved the "Album Art"-Look. But I was never really happy with MediaMonkey, because it is a way to buggy. Last.fm scrobbling did not work properly, sometimes MM crashed, ugly GUi and with large collections slow as hell.

And finally I found the perfect alternative: MusicBee.
It does just, what I want.
I can configure it like I want.
It works, just like I want.
Freeware, just like I want my software.
A beautiful, hard-working community and much more...

I love it!
Thank you, Steven! Highly appreciated :).

Kind regards,

Plugins / Re: Lyrics Plugin

Nice Plugin. Now I get finally the lyrics for almost all my metal stuff. Great!

Just one thing. Is it possible, that <right-click> into the Lyrics-Tab shows the Lyrics-Source? Because right now, when the lyrcis are achived through this plugin, "lyrics source" simple says "MUSICBEE PLUGIN".

Kind regards,

MusicBee Wishlist / Own filters in "Album Artwork Retrival Filters"
« on: September 14, 2012, 05:02:27 PM »
Hello there,

I would love it, if we could define "Album Artwork Retrival Filters" more precisely.
I use the open-source software Album Art Downloader to download my album-covers. Those are getting downloaded in the sub-directory "Cover" within the album directory.

For example:
..\Bael - 2002 - Infernal Procession\Cover\Bael-Infernal Procession-Front.jpg
..\Bael - 2002 - Infernal Procession\Cover\Bael-Infernal Procession-Back.jpg
..\Bael - 2002 - Infernal Procession\Cover\Bael-Infernal Procession-Inlay.jpg
..\Bael - 2002 - Infernal Procession\Cover\Bael-Infernal Procession-Booklet01.jpg
..\Bael - 2002 - Infernal Procession\Cover\Bael-Infernal Procession-Booklet02.jpg
..\Bael - 2002 - Infernal Procession\Cover\Bael-Infernal Procession-Booklet03.jpg

It would be really nice, if I could manually add some filters for the "Album Artwork Retrival Filters"-section.

For example:
Filename | to do
*Front.* | set as Front/Main Cover
*Back.* | set as Back Cover
*Inlay.* | set as Inlay Cover
*Booklet*.* | set as Booklet Cover

Secondly, MusicBee should add at first the Covers in the sub-directory and AFTER that it should add those pictures within the album directory. Then the Covers don't get screwed up, when there is also a (tiny) *Front* -picture in the root directory.

Would be very nice, if this would be possible. :)

Kind regards,
Legion
