>Why are you re-encoding flac to flac? That would serve no purpose whatsoever.

1. to recompress & resample to 16/44.1khz flac v8 for use on DJ gear.
2. To also embed all the album art at the same time (my main library has it all stored as Folder.*)
3. To do all of this and have it organized and sorted into a different folder structure.

2
Description:
When transcoding to the same format (flac to flac), the album art copy setting is ignored and uses the Copy from source behaviour, resulting in output files not having their album art embedded.

Steps to repro:
1. Have an album in flac with the album art stored in Cover.jgp/png and linked in musicbee.
2. Run format converter on the album to a new output location (e.g. not replacing original), select flac, maximum compression.
For me I'm using organize to sub folder with these parameters: "<Album Artist> - <Album>\<Track#> - <Title>"
3. Navigate to newly created files, you will see the audio files + Cover.jpg/png. Inspect files in a 3rd party ID tagging program, no artwork embedded.

Tested on 3.5.8384, 3.4.8033, 3.4.8033 Store

In my testing it seems it's always using the "Copy settings" behaviour regardless of which option is selected. The feature works correctly when transcoding to other formats, e.g. Flac -> Mp3 works fine & album art is embedded as expected

It was fixed a while ago. Re-download the skin from the add-ons page:

https://getmusicbee.com/addons/skins/21/pastels-8-colors/

This was the windows store version.

I switched musicbee to a pastel theme and then when I start up I get this error

I have this issue as well.

I found its related to the sound card and higher sample rates. My device supports upto 96 driverless, and 192 with drivers, but when playing asio 192khz I get crazy distortion, then when I play 172khz I get distortion as well. When I play 96 then play 172 it plays fine (I think the device is down sampling it since it doesn't support it)

I'm not entirely sure this is musicbee's fault, since all <96khz works no mater how fast I change songs, sounds more hardware related.

I have tested this with two sound cards (DacMagic 100, and Audio GD NFB-1) and this issue has only started happening after updating musicbee to the latest version.

What happens is when resuming a song after an extended period, it just loops over a tiny segment for 10-20 seconds then resumes normal play back. When hitting the pause/play button Musicbee claims the audio device has locked up.

Relevant settings

the device is set to use a sample rate of 96khz as well.

Edit: I saw there was a bug forum after posting this, can a mod please move it there
