Bug Reports / Using Visualizer Crashes MusicBee
« on: January 09, 2022, 02:48:15 PM »
Using visualizer crashes MusicBee after about 8 or so songs. I have to close and a automatic report goes to Microsoft. This has happened many times even after a PC restart.

Perfect, Thanks. Sorry I thought it was a bug. As for the mini player being able to change it's size is a mute point now.

I click view>compact player and it goes full screen. While in this area of the issue, mini player would be nice if it's size was adjustable.

I tried placing this in the plugin forum but it does not show. I found it to be plugin 'additional tagging tools' that was causing the issue.

MusicBee v3.2.6827.32939 (Win10.0), 29 Oct 2018 14:42:

Was told it could be an plugin so turned them off seemed to work fine then tried one at time and 'Adds some tagging tools to MusicBee' looks like the one causing the problem. It errors after 10-20 minutes of play. I have not added anything to MusicBee and last update was a few months ago so why this error started in the last week or so seems strange.

MusicBee Wishlist / Re: Artwork to fit window
« on: January 14, 2018, 09:57:56 PM »
Just to add I don't mean the whole window needs to be filled if the sides or top and bottom are blank is fine. Images are being displayed with their heads cut off or partially cut off. It needs a zoom out feature type of thing so no part of the image is cut off, how it is done I have no idea.

MusicBee Wishlist / Artwork to fit window
« on: January 14, 2018, 09:20:48 PM »
In the now playing tab the artwork needs the option to fit window so the whole image is displayed and I don't mean cropping or stretching just keep image's aspect ratio but fit display area.

On the bottom Panel of MB click equiliser icon to open it. On the left the pre-amp you can adjust overall volume and of course the frequencies as well.

Questions / Re: Converting wma to mp3

I had a long writeup but my time evaporated and lost it.
So you thought just clicking on 3.2 exe would take care of everything? Maybe for other apps, but not for MB.

Let me put it this way. You're done installing 3.1. Then delete MusicBee.exe from the MB program folder. And copy or move the unzipped MusicBee.exe (3.2) to the folder. Make sure you now have only one MusicBee.exe in MB program folder which is the unzipped 3.2. Now run the 3.2 exe file. Let me know if it works.
Thanks, this explanition was pefect, it worked and the version is 3.2.6576 now. I have never run into doing this this way ever so I was totally lost to what was going on. I have always clicked the exe file and by magic it has removed, installed and whatever other tricks go on behing closed doors all on it's own. Again thanks all for helping, I guess there is still stuff to learn and I better write this down or wait for the official release of things.
It can be called case closed, thanks for hanging in there.

Oh by the way you write about OLD copy of musicbee.com is that the initial app because if it is I only have the version from the site https://getmusicbee.com/downloads/  get MusicBee installer I clicked on then once loaded I unzipped all zip files. If I need the musicbee.com where do you get it?

I thankyou for trying to help me but this is totally not working for me and I am sorry I am stupid. I am hopeless because copy musicbee.exe and paste into Musicbee folder (mine is on D drive but that is besides the point) just does that pastes it it does not do anything as before why would it unless you click it to run it. Yes all files are in the folder on the D drive none else where I did a search they are all in the one folder. I am way out of my legue on this because it must be new way of running an exe file because copy/paste in my years means that, copy/paste not execute or overwrite. I have to go back to school or use Google Play because MusicBee is great but up and coming patches/updates are done different from any app I have incountered ever so it is a dead end. Again I thankyou for your time I is stupid.
