Hi rhubarbrhubarb, it looks like you're running the TM in the Now Playing window's embedded mode, make sure you extract the files to TheatreMode.List (not TheatreMode.Embedded) and run it from View > Theatre Mode > Vinyl Sleeve

Yikes frankz.. like it's got it's own hiberifl.sys file or something, haha..  Seriously, I can't even imagine adding that size to a portable app, but then I don't use theater mode at all or even Now Playing minus "Large Album" view.

Gaiastar, I take back the "something is seriously wrong" remark, but please do "Clear Artwork Cache!"

I'll clock in here with another AppData size: 797mb.

I delete the lyrics cache every two weeks, but I haven't touched any of the artwork caches. AlbumCovers is 296mb, and ArtistThumbs is 145. Lyrics was emptied today, so I can't provide a size.

but i'm asking if I can customize a single tab to show only artist without colum browsers with the left panel auto hide On, could be done? Customize only 1 panel?

Before you upload the screenshots to Imgur, you could resize them using free image viewer/editors like IrfanView or FastStone Image Viewer.  BTW you don't have to constantly apologize for "bad english," nobody is going to worry about it.

If your layout settings aren't being transferred 100% to your Panel Arrangement export and Saved Settings, I wouldn't be using those anyway to restore/experiment with layouts.  If you have the PORTABLE VERSION of MusicBee, all you need to do is backup your portable folder just before making a change, and then if you find you'd rather go back to your original look and try again, replace the entire folder with the backup.  NO RISK.  I've done it a dozen times.

Also, don't take this the wrong way, but try to worry less about all these looks and layouts and just remember that you're not trying to paint the Mona Lisa but enjoy a music manager.  Settle for less than 100%.

sadly i have restored so many time with the snapshots and backupup the AppData (it's pretty huge 1 GB ) and the folder Library si about 400mb
I would like just few tabs with 1 with all the thumbs of the artist and it's pretty cool and handy
have you tried to customize few tabs with differents settings with good results?
I would like to know if could be possible?

ps for the screenshot i use picpick free but when i resize it ,the text is nor read-able

i would like to keep the music blue tab with the red arrow in this layout
and the others in a different way with colum browsers with the left panel On
I have tried to export these settings , but when i use to reload all my personal settings are gone , maybe i should not overwrite a settings preferences snapshot but i should i save a new one with a different name  or maybe close mb and reload and save the snapshot

i'm using the last official version
I have several tabs , and for one tab i wanted to hide everything outise  the artist covers
i have tried to save preferences and panels settings , but when i try to restore a backup my tab with all the arregange panel disapears , and it's been restored to a normal panel/tab

I have search on the forum about storing these customation but i have found an answer , maybe they could not be saved

for tabs i mean these , the blues is music , covers only .

No, elements under <colours> are defined by RGB values, elements under <images> are defined by base64 encoded images.

This will allow you to change most of the colours and icons of any xmlc skin.

there is a beautiful freeware portable called volume2 , it can slow down volume very well ,but it doesn't work in wasapi event

You can add your own.

Edit > Edit Preferences > Layout (1) > Customise Layout



(Or right-click a blank part of the program window title bar and select Configure Toolbar)

Add a command for Player: Replay Gain Toggle or one of the adjacent commands if you want to directly enable or disable Album / Track gain etc.

The Radio Browser database is stored online (https://www.radio-browser.info/), not within MusicBee (or Foobar)!  The searcher that uses it in MusicBee is the 4th tab in MB's "Show Station Directories" window choice from the Radio header menu.

You never did answer my question as to WHY you want to disable radio station lyrics but that's up to you.

could be even better searching for a nation or name , there are radio like radio paradise ,I guess it's "eclettic  music"

Yeah it uses the standard Radio Browser resource just like the one added to Foobar v2 versions.

Why on earth would you NOT want the option of lyrics from streaming??  I assume you mean viewing them when they are sent as radio stream metadata, which can be turned off if desired in Prefs/Tags(2)/auto-tagging/lyrics/auto-retrieve.  It's true they get downloaded and cached, but that can be dealt with in a jiffy using the batch delete file posted here:

Run that regularly (after changing the "set dir" path to match yours) and you'll be clean and mean!
