Plugins / Re: UPnP/ DLNA device support
« on: July 31, 2020, 03:05:17 PM »
The plugin is working well with my Sonos Five.
I'm also ready to fund the DLNA plugin to increase the scope of compatibility

I also had issue with Plenue and this has nothing to do with MB

Portable Devices / Sync a library on a portable device with 2 drives
« on: February 10, 2019, 08:38:00 AM »
Hi,

My portable device, an AK SP1000 (Android with MTP), has 2 storage locations (Internal, SD)
The Sync works well but I have to create Playlists that will be synced depending on the location and manually change the path of the storage location.

Would it be possible to split the GUI  in two identical processes to initiate 1 at all sync for portable devices with 2 storage locations and different playlists on different locations ?
or "send to..." SD1 or SD2

I tried this workaround by using the "virtual device #1 and #2" but I am unable to select a folder and the end and click OK

Regards

MusicBee Wishlist / MTP with Internal + external storage.
« on: March 09, 2018, 09:17:30 AM »
Hi,

Would you make it possible to "sync" or "send to" internal or external storage in two separate profiles.
Switching from internal to external storage requires a manual action prior the sync.
Creating a virtual device which point to the wanted folder doesn't work for MTP folder. the confirmation box is greyed-out.

regards

Portable Devices / Re: What Are The Best Portable Device for MusicBee?

3. Can support external storage - such as Micro SD cards - as I have lots of songs in my library

In my experience MusicBee's support for SD card storage is not 100% there yet, I got it work but it required a work-around.

yes you have to manually set internal storage or external storage depending on your needs.
"Send to device" will use what you've previously setup.

Something similar happened to me.
I notice the Album covers were not displayed correctly on my DAP.
My 1st thought was that the database on the DAP was probably corrupted.
So i totally deleted all the files on the DAP and re-sync the whole library with MB.
Unfortunately many album covers were still missing.
I did a manual copy from my music folder to the DAP driver thru the file explorer and it worked.

Hi, thanks my devices has no control on it... it's only done via an app.
depending on the profile the audio volume is never the same.. and i can't set a value that will change... and when it gets back to the previous profile the value is set back to default.
the amp is like 4500 Watts
all i need is to make sure that MB volume control can't go above X
that could be useful in a next version go be able to limit MB to a strict value.
When you use Airplay  / DLNA sometimes the Upnp control won't work... this causing the speaker play too loud to listen to.
for instance 50% on the control bar on music bee is already to much

Questions / Set a sound volume limit
« on: November 07, 2017, 02:28:30 PM »
Hi There,

I have an audio setup which is really power full and can damage hearing.
Right now i'm using the Airplay plug in
I'd like to know if i can set a sound volume limit to make sure i can't go over the limit and preserve my hearing.
can i also make the sound volume control bar bigger with more steps ?

regards

Re: Upnp Plug in for music bee

Hi,

No plan to work on a Music Bee plugin.

Who else would be able to develop the plugin, hints ?
i was thinking about contacting dcucko : https://www.xda-developers.com/stream-your-media-to-any-upnpdlna-receiver-with-my-cloud-cast/

or posting on XDA and hire someone.
