Questions / Keyboard backlight react to sound? (Like for eg. winamp plugin)
« on: September 17, 2020, 08:34:42 PM »
Hello

I wasn't sure in which section this should be posted, so sorry if chosen wrongly.

I remember there was once a plug-in for winamp that allowed to control & react the keyboard 3 LED diods that are usually on keyboard responsible for notification about Caps Lock etc., to the music, and also possibly to control the back-light of the keyboard if one had such keyboard.
It happened that I have such a keyboard that has back-light that can be set on two levels and I was wondering whether maybe we have already some kind of plug-in or something that could do the same as the winamp plug-in?

Is it even possible to run milkdrop on Windows 8.1 Tablet with Intel Atom (Z3745)?

I first just installed the milkdrop, then it gave me msg, that I need directx 9, so I downloaded from here as given by Steven:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=35

but then, trying to start it again gave msg:
Your hardware says that it supports 0d'd'               '''''Dę' [PSVersion=0x300], but it doesn't seem to do properly - maybe your display driver is just buggy.

You might want to try updating your display driver to the latest WHQL driver from the chopset manufacturer (Nvidia, ATI, etc.).

After doing this step of installing the directx libraries, should I have both Directx 11 and 9, mentioned in Dxdiag? Because I still have there only 11 mentioned. Maybe that's the problem?

MusicBee Wishlist / Re: MusicBee in the Windows 10 Store

If you can't get it from the Windows Store on Windows 8, just install the version from the download page here. It's easier to maintain anyway.
Yes, but I guess then I am loosing the main functionality that I am searching for which is being able to listen to the audio on my tablet after screen off, which audio metro apps can do in general.

Will it also be available for Win 8 in the future, or you would have to rewrite almost the whole program again, so no?  :'(

Questions / Re: MusicBee for Linux (ubuntu)

@LR17 I have some problem.
When installing everything as described I was asked if I wanted to install gecko and mono. I clicked no, because of no internet connection at that time and I've also not installed Musicbee.
The next time I've tried to install it, he didn't asked about this gecko and mono.
Do you know how to make wine to ask me again about it so that I can download and install it?

Skins / Re: DarkRED
« on: October 19, 2018, 04:23:14 AM »
Two years ago I remember I had some skin that was exactly like DarkRED but it was with an option of having a progres bar as a spectrum .
Does anyone know which skin this could be?(I wasn't sure where to post it, this seemed best place)

I will answer myself - you need to download the flat xml version. It's also in the first post. Thanks

Questions / Re: Save layout and Musicbee setings to file?

Edit->Saved Settings->Import or Export

View->Import / Export->Import or Export Panel Arrangement

My musicbee seems doesn't have neither.

Questions / Save layout and Musicbee setings to file?
« on: June 19, 2018, 02:07:47 PM »
Is there somewhere a file that contains informations about my layout and Musicbee settings, so that I could copy it to other computers, so that I would not have to configure it again?

I know musicbee is not a tag editing program but I was wondering whether there maybe would be an easy way to add such a functionality to a tag editing tool in Musicbee that I can add to already existing tags some another additional info.
It can be easily done by just Regular Expressions I believe and adding a additional field in tag editing window for such purpose.

But even tag editing program lat tagscanner doesn't have this feature, only some workaround which takes some little more time.

As in thread name.

This is how mine main view looks like and on the red I've marked where I wonder if there would be maybe an easy way for the programmer to edit the code so that my request would be possible.

Win 8.1 has same layout box for music playing. Could it be possible to make this plugging also for Win 8.1?
