I think this is the same issue I am experiencing although slightly different behaviour. For me it is at the beginning of the song it stops and starts and then a few times during playback does the same thing. No changes or new installs and I didn't fiddle with any settings on MusicBee or system

Bug Reports / Buffer issue playback
« on: March 11, 2018, 04:11:25 AM »
I updated to latest patch (3.1.6637) and have a new issue with playback. It appears that even when I am not doing anything on network the playback stutters (stops for a second and then re-starts). This happens a few times during each track playback.
I did not have this issue with previous version. It's really annoying as I cannot listen to anything without this stutter occurring.
I've modified the buffer in playback to load the complete file, but this did not help anything.
Any ideas on what is causing this?

MusicBee Wishlist / Silent delete of covers
« on: March 08, 2018, 11:47:03 PM »
If I am moving an existing album from Inbox to Music Library and if there is already an existing cover in both folders, the one from the Inbox is permanently deleted. I have no problem it being deleted, but it is not even moved to the Recycle Box, it is silently permanently deleted - further on I think all files deleted from MusicBee should be moved to Recycle Box.
I have played with settings, but wasn't able to figure out how to circumvent this. This is an issue as I would like to decide which cover to keep (whichever one is bigger probably).

Bug Reports / Re: An item with the same key has already been added
« on: August 01, 2017, 03:53:30 AM »
I have resolved the issue. It seems like there was an issue with some files in Inbox (I am not sure which ones, so I removed all of them) and not library. Once I removed those files, the library re-scanned ok. There were, however, about 7 files that were not moved to new location for whatever reason and I was able to get those from backup (kind of risky if the program does not report any error in the log, does not move files, but deletes the files in original location).
Anyway, all good now.

Bug Reports / An item with the same key has already been added
« on: July 27, 2017, 12:11:23 AM »
Version: 3.1.6388

I have used Send to -> Folder (Move) to move the whole library from PC to NAS as the library has started to grow considerably.
Before doing this I was wise enough to make a backup. During the transfer I got a few errors with nothing in the logfile. I then compared the backup to the Musicbee moved library and since NAS backup was bigger, removed the existing moved library and copied backup to NAS.
I then opened the Musicbee and went to Scan new library folder. This found about 99 new files and then it choked with the following error:

2017-07-26 6:42:15 PM - 10.0.15063.0 - 3.1.6388.33699 - System.ArgumentException: An item with the same key has already been added.

And the library rescan also fails with same message. I am pretty sure I don't have duplicates in the library although I guess it's possible, but program should handle those. Not sure what to do at this point.

Was using the last version of the app. Must have been some glitch.

I have an album in the organized library which has disc number 1 of 1 and some grouping. I try to remove the grouping and disc number (as well as total disc count from edit window as below), but on rescan these are back.

Directly editing the tags through Tag Inspector seems to work. No errors in logfile. I also tried going a song-by-song but still the same issue.

Bug Reports / Re: Musicbeelibrary.mbl file is corrupted
« on: October 27, 2016, 02:20:27 AM »
There is no *.bak file :(
The only thing I have is MusicBeeLibrary.mbl and MusicBeeLibrary_corrupted_20161027121809.mbl
I tried both files - if I try the regular MusicBeeLibrary.mbl I get the popup suggested to remove the mbl and bak file. If I try the corrupted file I only get to see the last song played.
I played that song with Windows Media Player and it was successful playing it, so it appears that music file is not corrupted

I just got the same error. :(

I was playing some music and it stopped in the middle of the song and started repeating the same passage over and over like a broken record. It appears the file was corrupted:

Now when I open the MusicBee I get the same error as the original poster above. I don't think one corrupted file should bring the whole library down and the backup of the library should be more or less automatic. Not sure what to do as the library is quite big.

Questions / Re: Cue file not being read

Got it to work somehow, by combination of rename, removing and restarting of MB. Not sure in the end what exactly was wrong.

Questions / Cue file not being read
« on: July 28, 2016, 05:14:34 AM »
Have a problem with a cue file not being read. Can't figure out what is wrong. The filename in cue is same as ape file in the same folder.
I've run the CueTools and it seems to convert ok, so I don't know why MusicBee is not able to recognize the files. I've re-checked everything many times.

Bug Reports / Multiple Artist Splitter
« on: July 18, 2016, 03:24:03 AM »
Splitter is not taking the artist entered into the artist box, but the one saved previously which doesn't make sense. For example, if I enter "A & C" and only artist "A" was there before - once I click on the splitter it will not show "A & C" but just "A".

Bug Reports / Context search
« on: July 18, 2016, 02:38:34 AM »
Not sure if this is a bug or intended functionality.

If I use the top right search box to narrow down the list, I am no longer able to use type-search inside Artists or Album window
