I have nearly filled my 5TB travel drive with FLAC files and am wondering if there is a way to expand onto a second 5TB travel drive within the same library, i.e., just continue my library on a second drive?

Thank you! I'll try it!

MusicBee Wishlist / Find and/or Find and Replace Text Editing Capability
« on: February 01, 2023, 04:43:29 PM »
It would be nice to have a Find and/or Find and Replace capability to edit fields across an entire library. Or is there one already that I've not found?

I am about out of space on my 5 TB portable hard drive and am wondering if I can continue my library seemlessly onto a second?

6443 albums, 2470.8 GB, 338 days 14:59 and all as FLAC, 98% classical

Works well in MusicBee although I'm currently getting white noise when trying to burn a CD.

Questions / Missing Albums/Tracks
« on: May 14, 2018, 09:03:58 PM »
I need help.  I have 4952 albums and 1.9794 TB of FLAC files.  I noticed today that some albums are not showing up in the library although the folders and tracks are all still found in the directory for my library.  I noticed that the missing albums are all in the window that pops up for reorganizing my library.  I don't know how to use the reorg and certainly do not want to mess things up.  Yes, I do have a complete back up of everything but am still worried.  The reorganization window says "duplicates exist".

Thanks in advance!

Questions / Syncing Problem Due to File Mapping
« on: April 20, 2016, 10:03:58 PM »
I am having trouble syncing my MusicBee library and other such folders between computers.  On one computer, the folder with the musicbeelibrary.mbl, .upd, .bak, .upd, etc., files are in a folder on the C drive but the music itself is on a peripheral device on the e drive.  On the other computer, everything is on the c drive.  I use Allway Sync to be sure that everything is the same on both machines but this requires a remap on one or the other machines each time I sync up the files.  Any suggestions?

I put my FLAC files on the peripheral device on drive e because it is 762.1 GB in size.  Otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it and would just store it on the c drive on both computers.  Thanks in advance.
