Hey Man!
Been using Musicbee for years and love it. My library is big enough 53 000 tracks, full albums only all in Flac. I keep track of it on a spreadsheet and have noticed there are discrepancies in the library reports where the results don't match up with reality. Upon further inspection, I've found that the report skips Album titles that are the same....example "Live" or "Greatest Hits".

It's not really important unless you're afflicted with asperger's.....

As FZ said....."Music (bee) is the best !

Everything in FLAC, I only rip my own CD's.

Funny, I have the same question regarding sorting and refers to my Zappa collection.

Ok sorting by date is no problem and works perfectly....Except for Zappa's particular habit of having released many albums "THE SAME YEAR".

So how could you sort one particular artist based on say 'Release number' or Date format "mm/yyyy" ?

Any help would be appreciated.

btw....the right click on the album trick get's you a "sort by" menu. HOWEVER, you get to choose between "year(up)" "year(down)" and "title".  Could you just ad an "Other"

I came to MusicBee because after years of using WMP and having all my music in WMA Lossless. Upon updating to windows 7 the media player ran into some very stubborn problems (like a very screwed up crossfading issue). I have not looked back and have been using MB on two computers at home. I love the way the library is presented in artwork view. Theatre mode is wonderful (just need that large album art view), and it just never crashes.

I have Japanese made Onkyo sound cards in my computers and the sound quality is second to nun. 

Thank you so much for this excellent software.

Hello, firstly. Steven, Merci Beaucoup for Musicbee. It's great. The whole family loves it.

What Moshi said about Theatre mode and Cover/ART.  Vinyl is coming on strong and the real reason is not the SOUND, it's the cool cover art. If you are over 40 you know what i'm talking about right. I'd love to have my Album Covers in Large size HD on the living room TV while the music is playing. That would be the next best thing to actually fetishing the cardboard....
