Bug Reports / MB will not start after shutdown

using Questyle M15 DAC/Amp. when using WASAPI exclusive, after playing music MB will not start without rebooting my PC.

restarts in DirectSound and WASAPI (Shared)

I didn't think it was possible.

any other settings that might improve audio quality?

I know using UAPP (USB Audio Player Pro) on my phone with the same cobalt DAC sounds excellent in "bit-perfect" mode.

When I am listening to music with MB 3.3.7165 using WASAPI(Exclusive) should Win10 be able to play audio from youtube video (laptop speakers) simultaneously?
 

Seems like it the past that was never possible?


just curious because the sound quality is a bit different lately.

I uninstalled MB, deleted all appdata folders and all music bee folders on various hard drives. I searched my PC for anything with musicbee and deleted.

surprise, when I reinstalled it remembers the drive/folder with my music? registry entry?

WASAPI works now, I do get the bang (!) just a warning that WASAPI is exclusive...

using USB to DAC.

strange, I have used my onboard Realtek optical out often with WASAPI and ASIO and now no output and "!" in both modes.

Realtek drivers 6.0.1.8186

Edit: same thing with USB input to my DAC, just a bang "!" with no audio output. Direct sounds works.

I wonder why some of my albums do not show the cover art? they have all been tagged with mp3tag or tagscanner and the art is embedded I guess.


an image needs to be a link? best way to do this?

Windows 10 "N" version.

MusicBee 3.0.6248

I did install the Feature Pack for Win10 KB3010081

only BASS_ERROR_CODEC when trying to play MP3. Flac is playing..

Lame.exe is in Codecs folder and MP3 Enabled is checked in File Converters. path to Lame.exe is correct.

Tried K-lite Codecs and Sharks Codecs - no help.

Not sure what to try. thanks for any ideas.

Questions / Move from Inbox to Library?

I have most music on a different drive (f:) in various folders.

I created a few libraries.

under Library Preferences I set MB to "Scan at startup only" and New File Actions:  Add to Library.

I added a album to f:\music and I can not get it out of the inbox to that Library.

when i highlight all the files in the inbox, right click --> send to Music Library, only way to find them is with a search.

only way I was able to get the new files to show up in the library was to delete the entire library folder, and create a new one.

pretty confused at this point, thanks for any help.
