Alright, Well, I thank you for your time and patience, but I'm going to try other software that's a little more intuitive for a simple operation.

Ok, This is what I am doing, and the results. Where am I going wrong?

Edit: If I change All to Any, I get about ten tracks listed, whereas there should be around 50+

Hi, thanks for that, further questions arise though :)

As far as I can see, 'remove' is only available in the right pane.

The main window where now all the live tracks are listed, the only option that goes in that direction is 'delete' Which offers to delete from the library only or library & computer. No mention of removing from playlist.

Where to now? :)

I have a playlist with around 900 tracks in that auto-sync to the phone.
In this playlist are numerous live tracks. Sometimes just one or two on an album, sometimes the whole album.

Editing the playlist allows me to scroll through and remove entries singularly, or ctrl-click selecting for many.
To remove live tracks, I would need to scroll through the list, ctrl-clicking to select, then to remove.
Now, some tracks have live in the title, some have live in the album name, but there appears no way to search and filter leaving live tracks showing, so I can bulk remove.

So, what should be a 30 second job, is a 2 hours job instead. Is this really the situation or am I missing something?

Cheers

Shoutcast you mean?
The winamp shoutcast dsp doesn't work with Musicbee, so you'll have to use either Winamp, and capture from soundcard what you play with musicbee, or you can use this
http://code.google.com/p/edcast-reborn/
and this
http://software.muzychenko.net/eng/vac.htm.
Create a virtual cable, set musicbee to play to it, and edcast to capture from it.

Although, I get operation timed out about 80% of the time.
Would it be possible to have some kind of auto-retry option?

I'm not sure how you wouldn't be able to tell which it is a reference to, considering most have a shaded stripe background every other line.

Very useful and a welcome addition, but looks messy, and makes it hard to read at a glance.

I'd like to see the track count aligned to the right if possible, will improve the readability tenfold.

Keep up the great work :)

Also, MusicBrainz picard is a very handy tool for autotagging http://musicbrainz.org/doc/MusicBrainz_Picard
Make sure you pay attention to it before saving though.

Yea, I've done the same the other day, this would be a nice add.

MusicBee Wishlist / Re: Have Libraries remember view settings
« on: May 17, 2012, 02:10:49 AM »
That seems a very convoluted method, and from what I can gather, it only works effectively if I'm using one library, and i set a filter to a genre.

I have 2 libs, located on different drives & I switch between them.
The lib with the d&b and dj sets is very assorted, and poorly tagged. Setting a filter would require I tag it all with genres at least.
The simplest way to describe it, is that I'm looking for a tick-box that says 'Remember this library's layout'

Cheers for the suggestion though, I guess I'll stick to having to manually change the layout when swapping between libs.

MusicBee Wishlist / Have Libraries remember view settings
« on: May 15, 2012, 06:10:12 PM »
Hi Steven,
I have 2 libraries, one for albums, which is well tagged, with all artwork complete,
& another library full of assorted d&b vinyls and Dj sets, non of which have artwork.

When I switch between libraries, I also have to keep switching main panel display mode between 'Albums & Tracks' so it shows the artwork,
and 'Track Details' so the d&b tracks without artwork are easier to navigate.

Can It done so the library remembers my main panel view settings when I swap between libraries? Or have I overlooked a option somewhere?

Displaying V0 or V2 or whatever would be much better imho.
