I think their server has some issue at the moment. It often takes a long time to retrieve a picture or gives 500 server error.

Bug Reports / Fanart.tv not connecting.

It seems they made some changes to fanart.tv so cover art acquisition doesn't work anymore. iTunes and others work fine but in the Artwork downloader it's stuck "Searching.." for fanart.tv.

Do I need to provide any other log? In resource monitor I can see MusicBee.exe making a connection to webservice.fanart.tv.

These are the "Play now" settings. And yes the culprit was the unticked "Except...." setting. I turned that on and it works fine now.

It does work (to pause and play again) after you click the album art and start playing any track from there. But initially it doesn't start the playback of the album and gives this error:

Lately, cover art fetching from fanart.tv stopped working. The site appears to be functional but I guess they changed some API functions. I inspected it using Fiddler and here's the connection log:

Questions / Taskbar Integration Problem

I recently started having problems regarding Windows taskbar showing progress and buttons when you hover over the taskbar icon. It just shows a thumbnail of the window (like all other opened windows) and not Artwork + Player controls as set in the configuration.

I'm using the latest 2.5.5524. Anyone experiencing the same problem?

I have the exact same problem with the deferred error. However I'm currently scrobbling to last.fm using spotify without problems. I'm using the latest 2.5.5469 version. I've checked and MusicBee.exe connects to 195.24.232.205 which is last.fm in england. So there are no connection problems.

I guess it's last.fm acting weird.

Questions / "Not Labeled Cover Art" Problem

Recently I have noticed that MusicBee has multiple artwork cycle in Cover Art section. The problem is some of my files have their covers defined as "Not Labeled" or "Undefined" and MusicBee cycles between "No Cover Art" (because the file does not contain an image labeled as Album Cover) and Unlabeled Cover.

Is there any easy way to turn those Unlabeled covers to Album Covers? Or any setting that displays the first found cover art in the file and discard the default "Album Cover".

Also there are hotkeys for them: View:Toggle Show Left/Right Panel.

Oh, thank you very much. I remember collapsing that panel now that you told me. But I didn't think it would actually pop-up when I move my cursor to the edge. I guess that's why I never considered collapsing it before because it would get tiring after a while.

Questions / Hiding or Moving Left Navigator Panel

The Left Navigator Panel (where Library, Radio, Internet etc. is) is just taking so much space on the left. I tried to put something under it but I'd very much like to hide it or place it horizontally above everything else.

Is there anyway I can control it ?
