There are maybee 100-120 tagging standards in that Re-encode option,  and I tried 60 of these but none was successful.
Within MusicBee everything is showed correct, but it goes wrong during exporting the m3u playlist to the Sonos app.
The image you see is a screencapture from the Sonos app.
I let you know that I had the same problem with Mediamonkey, until I unchecked in the settings an option like this : "use unicode(utf-8 encoding) for .m3u playlist.  After doing this it was OK.  Apparently tagging is different for library as well  as for playlists ?
JRiver, MP3Tag, Winamp, Aimp were OK

for Steven : changing the tagging option in MB to "ID3v2.3ascii only" is that what you mean.  I already did that before, but I am not aware whether anything happened at that moment.

thanks for your attention

about the picture :

what you should read is

Jägerlied aus dem Freischütz - Günther Wewel.mp3

the Sonos app only accepts .m3u, .WPL and  .PLS format .
I tried with .pls but without success

Questions / tag problem with Sonos

I make .m3u playlists in MB to play on a Sonos playbar with the Sonos app.
This is an example of  what happens, and of course these songs are not played.

(I hope anyone can see this .jpg image)
The problem is that some test is wrong interpreted.
It has something to do with tagging but that is beyond my knowledge.
With many alternative programs to MB, I do not have this problem, but none of these are as good as MB; so I hope I can continue with MB

There must be a lot of people who have Sonos equipment; I'm surprised that this threat is not found in the Forum.

thanks in advance
