If you press F5 afterwards or restart does the playlist appear? No.
it wont import the files in the playlist to the libraryThese tracks are already imported into the library.
If anyone has succeeded in getting 2.0 Final Rescan to add a .M3U to the library, I would be gratfeul to know.Anyone? Thanks.
it appears the code for adding a playlist was removed for v2.0
edit:
actually it is importing the playlists but simply not refreshing the left sidebar. If you press F5 afterwards or restart does the playlist appear?
it wont import the files in the playlist to the library for some scenarios so i will fix that
EDIT: I got it to work. The only way to import an m3u playlist into MB was to change the default Playlist type in MB Library settings to m3u in order for MB to import it.
And for what it is worth, I still had to hit F5 to get it to show up in the left sidebar. Seems like it might still be a bug?

FWIW, no such problem here on V2.4.5404.
FWIW, note that your version is ahead of the one current (today) on http://www.getmusicbee.com/download/ .See http://www.getmusicbee.com/release_notes.html .@chrisjj-
And FWIW, I am running the Portable Application.
Did this get conclusively fixed?
