I always thought the equalizer of MusicBee was a bit lackluster in it's looks.
Just not being important enough to address though.
I just now realized that the reason it's looking rough and unpolished is that it is probably using Windows settings, and I am using 'Classic' mode.
This is the difference:

It might be nice to be able to personalize it.
On some darks skins even in 'Aero' mode it's not matching very well:
