Minimalist and simplistic.
Very nicely done!!

Any chance of getting lyrics in there?  Either instead of the artist info panel, or centered under the track info and above the play/pause control.  If it's not possible, or if it's too much work, just let me know - I'll understand.

Thanks for the work as it is.

I think this has just become my favourite Theater Mode yet!
Don't know what inspires these great ideas Greb, but I like them.
This is a first from me:

I love the look but the images aren't showing for me. I put them in the Images folder under TheatherMode.list.

I can imagine how great they would look from the screenshots, but not from my screen of lower resolution. Same with your Book Lovers work: I can only get a feel. No plan of support for lower resolution?

Thanks for the comments!  :)

Saragis, it's likely you don't have the last version, as Steven said.

phred, there's now a version with lyrics instead of bio.

redwing, the small cover version should look well with lower resolutions.

Thanks, Greb! But I'm afraid to report that three small cover versions are still too big except the wood frame negotiate one.

Damn! I must have overwritten the good ones.  >:(

Well, I'll change them again some moment this weekend.

Thanks for your great job, but I always can't use it cos it's a shame I'm still using a 1024x768 resolution monitor.  Would it be able to modify the xml myself to fit these lovely theater mode? I use Notepad++ but I am completely dumbed which figures I need to modify except font size which is so obvious.

phred, there's now a version with lyrics instead of bio.

Now that I see it, I think your implementation of replacing the artist bio with the lyrics is much better than my suggestion of adding the lyrics to the center panel.  This keeps the simple look of the original.  I think my way would've lost that look and it would've become cluttered.

Thanks for creating and modifying this masterpiece!!!

I'm afraid there's no way to do it. I'd suggest to make a thread in the wishlist forum if you want this implemented.

By the way, link updated.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if all Panaoz is trying to do is set the background color to one particular jpg within the Book Lovers Dark Walls SharedArtwork folder, why can't all but the desired jpg be deleted from the folder?  That way there's nothing to rotate.

Since I use the dark frames, they weren't visible with the dark backgrounds supplied.  So I just deleted the backgrounds I didn't want.  Taking that a step further, I changed the rotationPeriod from the default 300 (5 minutes) to EndOfTrack so a new background appears each time a new track starts.

I haven't experimented with this, but I would think that if there's only one background jpg in the folder, it won't (can't) rotate and therefore would remain the same.

Yes, of course, no way to rotate backgrounds if there's only one background!

You can delete the wallpapers you don't like, or even delete all of them and put one you'd rather like. Size doesn't matter [here, at least  ;D] since MB rescale the wallpapers to fit the screen.

@Panaoz - Let us know if you need more details, but Windows Explorer is your friend.  Just find MusicBee's Plugins folder.  Under that, expand the TheaterMode.List folder and under that you'll see the SharedArtwork folder.  In there is the Book Lovers Dark Walls folder which contains all the background jpg files.  Delete the ones you don't want and you should have a single constant background.

Good luck, and welcome to MusicBee.
