Title: Radio recording via streamripper
Post by: toology on February 12, 2009, 04:22:39 PM
I'd just like to point out this great command line tool that's already implemented in a bunch of software. Basically the idea is to add a record button when listening to web streams and pass the command to stream ripper. Or something like that, I'm not a programmer (if you don't count making short text adventures in BASIC in primary school  ;D).

http://streamripper.sourceforge.net/index.php has the binaries, instructions and APIs.

Let me know if you want to implement something like this. It would knock off one more program off my 'needed' list (screamer radio).  ;D

sure, but i am focusing on closing off the bugs for the 0.2 release so i can finalise a stable release before adding the requests to 0.3.
If no substantial bugs are reported this week, i will make a make a canidate release this weekend and then finalise next week

Of course, do it in your own time, I just wanted to know if you are  considering it at all. Thanks a lot!  :)
