Title: Translucent layout modules and W7 docking
Post by: 8166UY on March 07, 2012, 03:26:57 PM
I've heard that you can do a lot of neat things with the .NET framework. It would be nice if Musicbee could behave like any other window in windows 7, for instance docking it to a side. Also modules that can be translucent would look nicer, though people should be able to have it as an option. I've made a quick mockup of the translucent modules. Everything but the top module should be a bit darker to enhance contrast. Also, the text should have a higher contrast, but that was too much work since this is enought to display the idea.

That is pretty sweet looking. I'm sure this has been discussed before but I'm unsure of the outcome of said discussions

Farr is sooo much more than the w7 task bar. Much more powerfull and flexible, in fact its disrespectful to farr mentioning the two in the same sentence  :P

Probably true, but with 2.0 Musicbee is coming to .NET 4 in which it's much easier to implement as it was for .NET 2.
