Title: Average album play count
Post by: richardap1 on February 20, 2012, 05:23:22 PM
This may seem a strange one, but in the same idea as the auto-calculate album rating, is it possible to have a auto-calculate album play average.  It seems that the play-count value is taken from the first track in certain views and not always representative of total plays of the whole album. For example a single play of the first track will make it appear that the while album has been played, where is if every track except the first has been played several times will make it seem that the album was never played. For me this field would be used in virtual tags to show in artwork view whether the majority of the album has been played.

This is what I currently have

@richardap1
Not exactly what you asked, but something very similar is possible with 'Auto library reports' command of this plugin:

Following on from boroda's comments, see my post here (http://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=11740.msg71413#msg71413). Sure it can be pretty easily modified.
